Georgia got fricked out of that National champ game. West Va, and Mizzou both lost. Naturally, the team that went to #2 should have been UGA.

LSU had an equal record, a conference championship and a stronger schedule. Give me a break. Seriously.

Any and every LSU fan will tell you we got lucky to back into the national championship that year, moron. What are you trying to prove with this thread?

Anybody that made it in would have been lucky.

Kansas did not beat Mizzou. We beat Kansas, our last conference game, to reach the Big 12 Championship game against Oklahoma. Going into that game we were ranked number 1 in the country.

Yes, but it was a foregone conclusion that you would lose to Oklahoma. How often does a #1 ranked team go into their conference championship game as the dog? Now that's embarrassing.

guys we all know that bama was the best team in the nation no matter what in 2011...the bcs was put in place to put #1 against #2...unfortunately for LSU they are always #2 and bama is #1.

well they were number 2 in 2011 most years they arent even top 5

Yeah, what kind of shitty team has to hope for outside help to get a title shot? That LSU team didn't even win its own division.

Oh wait.

Huh? I was responding to the guy who said it was bullshite that LSU played in the title game over Georgia. He said you don't say you have to play in the SECCG, and I said didn't just play in it, won it.

His 6 yr butthurt is as funny as our fan's over LSUvALA 2 a couple of years ago.

A couple of LSU Posters are accusing us of having a "soft"schedule

We have played 6 games so far (3 away 3 Home)

LSU has played 3 away, 4 home

We have scored 233 points against our opponents, and the opponents have scored a paltry 68 points against us
( 38.8 average for per game/ 11.3 against us)

LSU has scored 253 points in 7 games vs. 146 against them
Average equals For 36.1 points/ 23.4 against.

That is figuring 44 points against and 41 for in the Georgia game

So it appears our D is far superior at this point....playing
Ranked opponents....they played 3 (lost to Georgia) and we played just 1,T A & M...

We' ll see how it plays out....But the Better D wins in big games, with a decent O.

Your math is wrong here. We've had more points scored on us (154) but average less per game (22). What the hell is going on here?!

LSU beat Ohio State arse, didn't they. Every team needs a little luck and bounce going their way. If you think not you don't know college football!!!

Game was tied at half in Big 12 Championship and then the wheels fell off, also that year was neck and neck at OU that game was not a guaranteed OU victory.
