Name them.

UGA, Stanford, FSU, maybe Tennessee...

What you're saying is that Derrius Guice wouldn't start for 32 D1 football teams.

I'll give you 4 or 5. So that makes 97%, my bad.

Elite balance and amazing acceleration. His top end speed isn't as good as Fournette's but it will get there (possibly this season).

He looked better as a freshman than Fournette did. His runs against Auburn and South Carolina and his kick off return vs A&M epitomize his play style.

He is great in the open field. Amazing his combination of agility, balance, and speed. He does not go down easily. I REALLY want to see him do some screens and slot receiver play. Only thing I'm not certain about is his pass blocking. I'm sure someone else could chime in on it. I'm pressed to say this is the best RB duo in LSU history this season right next to Kevin Faulk and Rondell Mealey.

Guice was also a top 5 back coming out of HS. So he's always been a great player. He didn't come out of no where.

would love to see him line up in the slot every now and then to get him on the field as often as possible.

Scored a long TD against A&M on a run out of the slot. Played some slot receiver in high school, had a long TD reception in the under armor game

Yes. Guice knew how to get upfield and set up blocks. Fournette didn't.

Guice was much more refined as a RB coming out of HS and I called that then.

he was at wingback but close

Dude, Guice had better vision and scheme skills as a freshman than LF did

I think he looked a bit better.

Fournette had 187 carries for 1,034 yards at 5.5 YPC and Guice had 51 carries for 456 yards at an astounding 8.5 YPC.

He would’ve gotten more carries, but you know, he had LSU’s GOAT RB in front of him. He also was better at the little stuff than LF was.

It was the Army All American game and he was the MVP as a receiver in that game.

Guice is really good. Not as good as Fournette but would be more than capable of being a feature back. LSU has had a great running game with backs not as good as him as the feature back.

He is one of the angriest and most violent runners I have ever seen. He punishes people. He's about as fun a player to watch as LSU has ever had. I would say he's a top three or four fan favorite-up there with Fournette and Jamal Adams. He's the kind of guy you stop to watch even if he's not on your team.

He's a really down to earth and funny guy as well. It's hard to not like Guice.

Guice is nice

Guice is really good. Not LF good but AA 2nd team good when he's the main carrier.

Young man doesn't want to be on the ground. He'll do anything to not go down. He's a gamer, period. He'll play this year plenty with Fournette being healthy

prior to Fr year, he was leaping up onto double tractor tires with 135# bar
that's 40+ inches with the bar and a 45 on each side.
yeah, he's a bad MF

In the top 3 back up RBs in the SEC with Kamara and Michel IMO (no order).

This is how I feel as a Tiger fan. He is very good and expect him to be great when he gets his chance to be the # 1 back.
I could see him being the starting back at 4-6 SEC schools today.
