Apparently you can't say "Guice is incredibly talented, but hasn't faced great defenses yet" without feeling the wrath of some LSU fans

I don't think you know the definition of objective

U should have said he's NOT being objective.

(Not saying he was or wasn't, just trying to clear up the vocabulary.)

Hes an NFL talent for sure. Miles should use LF7/Guice 60/40 IMO. But he probably will use them somewhere around 70/30.

I think I know exactly what the meaning of objective is. The guy I was responding to was being objective, very few others were.

I completely agree. I'm just saying folks ITT are saying Guice was a better freshman than LF, and it's just not true. Guice had the benefit of coming in and the defense not realizing who he was or how good he is, limited carries, and vs garbage teams in garbage time.

Fournette as a freshman was getting real carries vs real teams. 27 in the UF game and 23 vs OM, 21 vs bama…it's an unfair comparison and an idiotic one as well.

Both are good but Guice was not better based off of his hand full of carries. That's ridiculous.

No, I'm telling you he's a better college RB than Fournette.

I was agreeing with lsufball telling him he was looking at things objectively. My bad for the misinterpretation. How'd you see it?

Oh,

Yeah, I can see the sarcasm not going over well on a website. I definitely try and look at things objectively, but I know bias kicks in every now and then. It was nice to see someone else view things the same way.

Guice is batter than Eddie Lacy based on what I saw in high school.

Better running back than Travis Minor in high school, but not quite as fast probably.

Potential 1500+ yard running back in SEC.

Seemed to get nicked in high school and miss a game or two each year - probably related to never wanting to go down.

Oh for sure. I try to be as objective as possible but sometimes my love for LSU is too strong

Eddie Lacy is a pro bowl RB. Guice doesn't have 500 yards in his NCAA career

He reminds me a lot of Chubb actually...we'll see if he proves that out against better competition this year than he's faced so far (I'm presuming they scale back Fournette slightly in carries).

Similar frame and running style... quick acceleration with limited wasted movement when hitting the hole. Out in the open field, extremely good balance coupled with elite strength which makes him resilient at point of attack. It's cliche, but he rarely gets knocked back and is always falling forward. It's not so much that he bowls people over like Fournette, but seems to just shrug guys off or drag them an extra yard or two... or inexplicably stay on his feet like Chubb.

Couple of Chubb gifs that remind me of Guice. Looks uncanny to me with how hard it is to bring both down.

I'm sure you watched a lot of Dutchtown High School football, but the guy is right about their high school days

Sure. Guice is batter because he looked more impressive in high school to that random internet posters.

You people sound like Alabama fans when you talk about this kid.

Quit whining, he's referencing two local kids he is familiar with, obviously comparing what he saw in HS. I saw both, and I would agree. I'm not a scout but I've been surprised with how far Lacy got.

Well, I didn't mean literally better than Lacy right now. Surely most would interpret that to be a comparison of their high school years.

Saw them both and I think Guice has as much or more potential.

Tasmanian Devil's brother...

Hard runner who is hard to tackle for some reason. Runs with reckless abandon. One of his teammates last year said they thought he was allergic to the ground because he don't ever want to go down...
