Now this is just plain humorous. You mean Mykel Jones, the receiver whose dad is one of my good friends? Is that the guy you're referring to? You are beyond confused and obviously being mislead.
I have ZERO issue with any kid going to any school. I don't involve myself with that. I just moved to Louisiana 3 years ago LOL. I wish Ole Miss would offer every kid on the team. I hope every school does the same. I brought Deshawn Raymond on the local news to commit to TCU over LSU. Shyheim Carter is committed to Alabama and he has never heard one thing from my mouth about it positive or negative.
I can't believe I have to sit here and defend myself because someone feels scorned.
Food for thought: Let's say this accusation were true, didn't Shea play with the Bootleggers last year? Wouldn't the sponsor money have covered those expenses if we're to assume that this accusation is true? Wouldn't every kid's eligibility be in question as a result of the "sponsor/booster money"?
Now who can defend something like that? The people that have contributed their time to this program would be affected by this, many of which are highly revered, stand-up people that include prominent business owners, current and former NFL stars, the area's top trainers, the area's best athletes and so on. There are so many people that have given to that team that deserve way better than that and if this were to get to them, everyone associated with such a remark would be in their cross-hairs.
The amount of effort, sacrifices and cautious handling that has been involved over the years is something I will stand up for until the end. This thread should be anchored. Better yet, it should've have been whacked. It's so sad that all of this has transpired.

I am not in the "know" but everything that this pompous person has posted has been dripping with vague cryptic character assassination in a self-serving manner. If he had done nothing wrong and it was a case of a corrupt parent, why come on here, being defensive while calling attention to the situation? Wouldn't it be better to ignore it and go about your business instead of basically calling a kid's parent out? IMO based upon his actions he has his own agenda & didn't mesh with SP's!

Where did anyone say that the OP was feed the information from the individual you just referenced? You do realize that the news is out in public forums with plenty of speculation.
