LSU Booster kicks Shea off 7 on 7 team
Damn, y'all are still melting over Patterson
Yes. I guess that's why an Ole Miss fan started this thread.....
Patterson is actually an Ohio kid (till he was 11, and an Texas kid (till he was 15). Not surprising that he chose another school (on top of being offered by LSU after they offered Franks.)
Sure LSU would have taken Patterson too, but can't blame the kid for committing elsewhere. Good luck to him...

Yeah because it'snot like LSU already has a higher rated QB committed

How long before the NCAA starts looking at these as impermissible benefits.

It's just a game played by kids. Remember that.
7 on 7 isn't just a game though...it's AAU level coruption

Probably about the same timeframe for them to start looking at hiring family members right before a recruit commits to be impermissible.
(Not melting over Patterson; I realize it happens in every sport, all over the country---Just so happens to fit this situation)

Never. Just look at basketball

This whole thread is just a rumor that OP started and we're arguing over it. Good times.

So just because a kid who grew up in Texas spent a couple of years in LA he is automatically an LSU lock unless something weird happens? No it seems to me he didn't want to play in your terrible offense and the only reason he gave LSU a look was because of his brother.

Then argue my point... NO LSU fan has any points but to laugh. You look ignorant.

Yes, it certainly has nothing to do with another top-ranked QB recruit committing. And I'm sure his brother being hired by Ole Miss had nothing to do with why he switched.
Oh well.

I'm not saying he was an LSU lock frickstick. I was pointing out the absurdity of you saying Shea only considered us because of his brother but his brother being hired by Ole Miss had nothing to do with his commitment. By the way, we have a QB rated as high as or higher than Shea to play in our "terrible" offense.

Your point is nothing more than opinion, it could also be argued he didn't commit to LSU because of Franks

Lol at Ole Miss and Patterson claiming improprieties committed by anyone else.

The fact you can say, "The only reason he was interested in LSU was because his brother was on the staff."
In the same breath as this, "His brother being on OM's staff had nothing to do with his commitment. He was coming here either way."
Is hilarious. Delusion, you're ate up with it.
