I dont understand why we would want to mess with the best conference in the nation that is currently dominating.

additional TV markets = more $. On a lesser note, the additional exposure supposedly helps recruiting too.

Id like to know where this smoke is coming from. Is it just fans fed up with UT shite that have a hard-on for the SEC? ...or is it from ppl related to the program who could be in the know?

Being proactive like the pac-12? They are going to have a bunch of shitty teams rounding out the bottom of their "super conference" every year.
I can understand doing it for $. I still can't see it making us stay ahead of the curve another way.

I do not understand why people do NOT want these games.

how many other schools in the SEC play Bama and Florida every single year?

is that not an advantage for AU who plays UF only as a rotating opponent or UGA that only plays Bama as a rotating opponent.

if this was the NFL and you could have 4-5 losses and win the whole thing, sure. but in the one or two losses and you're done world of coll fball, it matters. and yes, i know our record in 07, that was not the norm for cfb.

You are a fricking moron if you want to play Bama+UF every single year. If you look at the schedule since the conference added USC&Arky LSU has been screwed with having to play UF and Bama. No other team really has that to deal with.

I'd welcome the Aggies. Great tradition, pretty good program right now. And then- there's the Hou$ton market & media center.....

staring down the barrel of the first super conference.
I thought we already played in the "super conference"?

TAMU has always been my distant "2nd favorite" team. Them coming to the promised land of college football will sever all ties.

Well us and UT are getting hosed. I'd take Oklahoma over Texas A&M.

So I guess it's fair that Ole Miss gets to play Vanderbilt every year while we play Florida?

Auburn=Georgia
Alabama=Tennessee
Ole Miss=Vanderbilt
LSU=Florida
Mississippi State=Kentucky
Arkansas=South Carolina
