And by the way....I'm glad we get to settle it on the field. We'll see how good your QBs play with a real team on the field instead of a cupcake...

I didn't say a word about their performance being good or bad. You are putting words into my mouth. I already have a wife. I don't need another.

They did indeed perform to my expectations for game one, on our 2nd OC for them and a limited play book. So saying they didn't perform to my expectations is wrong.

I don't own orange and blue glasses and would love for you to show me examples of any homerism on my part.

And we'll also see how this supposedly great freshmen QB of yours is as well.

Do you guys think Pease held any of his playbook back? even when the game was in doubt he was pretty conservative. At boise he was super agressive and would occasionally go deep. Today they only took it once on Brisset's first throw. I guess we shall see next week.

No idea. We were told all about how Charlie Cheeseburger was holding back his Ultimate Playbook of Destiny for the first two or three games last year, and you saw how that ended up going down.

I guarantee you we saw more of Pease's playbook than we saw of Kingsbury.

Muschamp basically locked up Brent Pease's playbook and told him to run the ball. He said so during his post game interview. We havent seen Pease's full potential in playcalling yet.

I can relate. We here at LSU have longed to see the Secret Playbook finally cracked open.

Still waiting...

15 screens to set up 1 long pass. I'm hoping that was just a set up for future games....really hoping.

With very young qb and a fired up Bowling Green (who had a lot of starters back from last year btw)...smart money is to run the ball with our OL and pound them...we continued to do that even with eight men in the box...we were trying to make sure we run the ball well....got 220 yds of rushing.

Look at OU...They only led UTEP by 10-7 score until 4th qt and gave up 207 yds rushing? Wow. Landry Jones is an experienced sr qb and thats a head scratcher.

I can't believe that there are aggies on here talking shite like we've done anything to earn the right...

The only thing I have confidence in is our OL and our running backs at this point. However, we now run the air raid (to some extent), and I am sure they won't go 50/50 run pass so who knows wtf will happen.

Freshman qb.. questions on defense.. We have no room to talk shite.

Got to get those penalties fixed up...that was just bad. I realize that was game 1, but still 14 is ridiculous.

The running game was fine, and I liked MG. The D did some nice things (although at times looked bad when BG was having little trouble moving the ball down field). Hopefully we can get better after that shitshow yesterday (and I think we can) but this game will be interesting to watch.

I was upset during and after the game about the penalties and the lack of down the field passing, but after watching CWM's press conference, I understood what he's trying to do-transform the program from a finesse one to one that's built on toughness.
I don't like the 'ugly' way of winning we'll have to deal with some weeks, but as long as we come through with the "W", I'll get over it.
With this said, he has to clean up the penalties on the team. We play some dumb brand of football.

Yes, actually, but Muschamp was the reason for it.

Muschamp said in his postgame, that on all the 3rd or 4th and shorts, he was stubborn about running it, and that he should've let the OC have more freedom.

But for the entire game yes. Theres no way Pease showed everything. Just basic motions and shifting. Not anything like the aggressive stuff at Boise.

Sig, I look forward to talking about our game after it happens, win or lose.

A bunch of the other Aggies, if we win , if we lose . That's about all I'll give them either way.

Here's to an injury free exciting game.

Based on what we saw last night, nothing will surprise me. to Sig and the other non-pecker wood Aggies.
