Hardly. He still led our team in receiving during a NC season. He was clutch in a lot of big games last year.

That was because of McElroy. Seriously, go back and watch some Alabama games from last season. As bad as some people think he is this year, he was MUCH, MUCH worse last year and it's not even close. It'll be a long time before we ever see a QB of that caliber win a national championship again.

2. He was dominant in the best conference by far in college football.
3. He is the only CB other than Woodson to win the Bednarik.
4. He has a very good chance to go #2 overall in the upcoming NFL draft.
5. He is an elite return man on top of having elite man coverage skills.
He is definitely one of the best ever CB of college football. Obviously we will have to see how he matures to rate him against the best of the NFL.

He was dominant last year in coverage, and was really good at returning kicks the first part of this past year. Still doesnt make him one of the best ever.

You are just an average bama b*tch fan. If you don't think PP is one of the best ever your bama bias is showing. He averaged less than 5 yds per pass completed on him, which is a Freak of a stat. And in relevance to this topic AJ Green is one of the most fluid, athletic, sticky handed receivers to play in this conference. Julio jones is just a physical specimen who will dominate at the next level (even though the injury did slow him down his sophomore yr).

As a Bama fan, Peterson is easily my favorite non-Bama player. The kid is all class, and I loved the mutual respect between him and Julio for 3 years - No trash talking, no taunting, no celebrating, just two of the best players at their position bringing out the best in one another. Plus, that picture of him in the rain is pretty sweet.

Terrell Buckley deserves to be on that list. PP is phenomenal, one of the best, but I don't put him as the greatest cover corner in CFB history.

1 That would be because people had him as being some wr that would put up huge numbers streaking down the field.
2 He is an over the middle big receiver call him a possession receiver if you want; he is not built for streaking down the sideline and gaining a 100 yds a game. He gets you what you need when you need it.

) 4 last he was every bit the receiver he was billed to be this yr he made several spectacular catches and had his best game and beat the best cb in cfb and according to some LSU fans the best cb in cfb history.
5 GM is not a great passer he was a game manager period. If he had Mallet or a better qb throwing him the ball his numbers would have been better but in order for a receiver like him to do his thing and outfight the secondary the qb has to be able to put the ball in a very tight window and GM was not that guy.
I seriously believe he will have a spectacular NFl career barring the injury bug doesnt get him like it did last yr and he continues to concentrate on catching the football like he did this past season.

Statistically, Peterson is about the same as the players you listed (other than offensive production). Look it up.
