but college baseball is a horrendous product. Don't see how anyone could really argue it's a quality sport.

I could say the same thing about college basketball. it's painful to watch

Every year, the College World Series is the only college baseball event that makes national TV.

that is incorrect. SEC baseball is on national TV three times a week, every week and has been for several years

Congrats. You know more basketball players than I know baseball players.

2001 and 2005 Tennessee CWS teams averaged like 2k in attendance for the year.

I think Vandy averaged several hundred more per game than we did this year.

Vandy about doubled Tennessee's average attendance this year

You couldn't have been at the Super Regional games those years in Lindsey Nelson Stadium. HINT: Tennessee won Super Regionals at ECU in 2001 and at GT in 2005. :)

You should just quit while you are behind.

excuse me, 2005 regional round. it doesn't really matter, if tennessee's basketball program had mirrored the baseball program's success the past 10 years, no one would watch them play either

game before against Winthrop was 3370. Lindsey Nelson's capacity in 2005 was right at 4000. But again, I wouldn't expect a team with 9 total NCAAT appearances to pack the house for any sport on a regular basis.

WOW, so about 20% less than capacity? They had 5k for a game vs. Ok State in 1995.

What do other sports have to do with it having only 9 NCAAT appearances in baseball? You may need to get some better logic for whatever argument you are trying to make.

when a team has no historical success, they are not going to develop a great following, whatever that sport may be.

I hope the Vols continue to suck & have poor attendance. Along with AU, Mizzo, and bama. That makes it all the easier for the big boys in the conference to continue to dominate the league & make the playoffs every year. Knock college baseball all you want. Stay away from the ball park. The rest of the league will continue to enjoy the sport & pack our stadiums. Actually bragging about your team's poor teams and fan base makes it clear as to why bama's fans & teams looks down on you so much. Seems you enjoy being a loser.

College Baseball just doesn't push the dial on a national scale. It's a niche sport. I'm glad that LSU is good at it and it gives you some pride.

This is why no one really listens to anything you say. You are the guy who talks in the public place to no one in particular and everyone just kind of ignores you.

That sucks because baseball is your best men's sport.

Tennessee's best sport isn't baseball
