It's the Big 1.5...1 for football and 0.5 for basketball. Everything else is slaw.

In 2015 more people watched the WCWS than than the CWS.

You go through an awful lot of effort to tell people how much you don't like baseball. Who really gives a shite?

Nationally, it's not, you're right.

This is an SEC forum. And in the SEC it is one of the "major sports" and in the big 3.

It doesn't have to be a big deal at every school. Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Tennessee etc. all lack major football programs but we still call football a major sport.

Well, year in and year out, this conference produces multi-millionaires in the sport. As long as it is a stepping stone for one of the biggest sports worldwide, it will remain a big time sport in the NCAA, particularly in the SEC.

Also, I think the schools that are playing the games, and their respective alumni bases, have something to do with viewership. Michigan and UF are 2 of the largest schools in the country, with historic athletic success.

Weren't you non-stop posting snout the basevols all spring? Why the change of heart?

That said, I agree with you. I just think you're a dumbass.

Softball is more enjoyable to watch them college baseball. The psuedo excitement during the season is hilarious.

It's just not that big of a sport no matter how hard you try to make it be one.

I wonder how many people who dislike baseball have ever played it. I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much if I had never played

Only a complete douchebag uses TV Ratings to try to say x is better or worse than y.

Who gives a shite what the most people watch? A lot of people watch those Kardashian whores or the Bachelor or First Take or FoxNews or Big Bang Theory. Doesn't mean they don't suck.

Unless you're in the Advertising/Marketing industry, I'll never understand the fascination some dork fans have with tv ratings. It's like the need some confirmation of what they're watching, I don't know?

HISTORY SMACK!

6-4 in my lifetime. 6-2 since I've been old enough to remember things.

Grats on all the success 20+ years ago, though.

386k watched the greatly anticipated Texas tech tcu matchup on Sat.

I think the Vols get that many for a home game at Neyland.

Its' funny that vol fans always accuse everyone else of being "butthurt" or "rustled" whenever yall post lame threads and people talk crap about them, yet SOG posts a thread adn within minutes you instantly start a response thread. The rustler has become the rustlee.

FACT

27 of the first 150 picks the other week in the MLB Draft were current SEC players. So far, they've signed for $18,407,700 in signing bonuses and that is with 9 of them still waiting to sign or their amount be released.

Baseball is huge, even in the SEC. Regardless of what some football-only dork or softball watcher fanboy on tRant has to say.
