Gurley ran behind a O-line that had 4 UFA's and a 4th rd pick, he also missed plenty of time against the Vandy's and UK's that could have padded his stats due to injuries and suspension of course. I just don't think LF7 will translate to the next level as well as Gurley and Todd is running behind a zone that does not fit his style at all IMO and he still won ROY.

If voters watch every game Christian McCaffrey wins the Heisman and we aren't having this stupid argument.

So you're saying that my first thought was correct then.

Not true. the Heisman is given out in early December. The Playoffs don't begin until late December, I believe

2* more games of stats at heisman voting.
11 vs 13. Mcneese cancelled, SECCG for
Bama

3 more games overall

Look at the names of those schools. Those carry ZERO weight.

2nd, you think no voter watched the bama and arkie games?

Mccaffrey should have won it but he played for a team not competing for the title. That has almost become a prerequisite. But anyway, no, fournette had no claim to it. He can blame his undersized, not very strong o line for that one.

For LF to win the Heisman, he'll have to have big game against Bama......pure & simple.

Only certain schools get benefit of doubt and Bama is definitely one of them. It's a "popularity contest" award more than anything.

I'd rather we beat Bama's arse and win a NC.

What was wrong with the Ark game?

Henry only had 4 more yards against Ark, on 8 more carries
How about the ole miss game? We got killed in that one too. Nope Henry had 1 less yard on 2 less carries.

No DH2 wouldn't have gained any more yards against that Bama defence than LF7 would if he was LSUs RB in that game. Bama was a raged immovable force in that game. Bama wasn't going to let a German Tank gain 100 yds rushing that night.

For those arguing for Derrick Henry, how do you explain that in a year he set the total SEC single season rushing record he couldn't even break a 100 yards against the three following teams:

MTSU
Louisianian Monroe
Charlton Southern

By owning LSU's run defense, of course. All the cred he needed, running through that pathetic DL.

When are you people going to tire of using Leonard Fournette as a rag doll?

Henry shouldn't have won the heisman and was soooo overrated. But Cook, and Elliot are both better RBs than LF7.

Unbiased Top 5:

Elliot
Cook
LF7
Perine
Chubb

Henry is slow as hell off the ball and won't do anything in the NFL, just a product of Bama hype and great Oline.

Common opponents. Heisman winner Derrick Henry dwarfed Fournette against the SEC and against quality defenses. This was a good troll, btw.

Texas Tech - 128th ranked rushing defense. Dead last in NCAA

W. Michigan - 127th ranked rushing defense

You didn't list USCe - 109th ranked rushing d

Syracuse - 70th rushing defense

WKU and New Mexico State - who even cares

I am very disappointed in you Garfield.

Are you suggesting in any way that Les underachieves and/or isn't the sharpest tool in the shed? If so, I agree.
