For those arguing for Derrick Henry, how do you explain that in a year he set the total SEC single season rushing record he couldn't even break a 100 yards against the three following teams:

MTSU
Louisianian Monroe
Charlton Southern

if they were on the same team, Fournette would get most of the carries and produce better.

If they needed a back to destroy Southeast Idaho State, they would tell Henry to stay home and let Fournette show him how it's done.

yes, he really torched us with his 2 red zone fumbles in our 21 point victory over you

You are either an alter who forgot what he was signed in as or completely delusional on history.

you explain it by watching the games. Unlike LSU, Bama doesnt need to pound the rock with their star RB to beat that level of competition. Do you think that the MTSUs of the world just have Henry's number and he just couldnt do shite against them?

He's an ole miss fan. You only have to read the rant for a day to figure that out. Plus mentioning a 21 point blowout should have been enough context clues for you.

I think he was the best back, but the most watched LSU game nationally was Alabama. Henry stole the show

Henry had a much better Oline and played against defenses that had to watch for a somewhat decent passing game as well. Henry is an above average SEC RB who had a shite ton of good to great players around him.

I agree.

Just wanted to show Fournette was as effective against their common opponents even with that considered.

I also understand that before the playoff a lot of casual fans nationally likely saw the most of Henry and Fournette in the game they played against each other. And Henry won the day decisively. Most don't think as deeply into the reasons why as we do.
Plus you had the playoff coming up with a likely matchup of Watson vs Henry. So I can see how it makes sense perception wise (head to head), numbers wise (2 more games at the time), and business wise (hyping up the NC)

You mean ,most aren't blatant Homer's, looking for every excuse possible for LF and fabricate reasons why he didn't make the cut.

I mean the fact that's Bama's front 7 dominated our Oline while Bama's Oline was getting push, regardless of their performances

Should have said most people don't look as much into as we do (LSU fans)

No one cares, they saw Henry run for more yards. I'm fine w that, but it's not made up

So in a Henry vs fournette thread you don't have a better front 7, but in every defensive thread you by far have the better front 7? Sure...

Ask Arkansas who had the better front 7...

^ to ignore that is "blatant homerism"

To take it into account is logical

I'm not really proud of you. More disappointed in the rant.
