Ohio State
Notre Dame

One of those is a 9-1 FCS team.

UF/OU would be a good game.

Clearly a game Botch wanted to see.

Doesn't change the fact that he is fast.

On another note, joining a bad conference can make a good coach seem great. Worked for Bowden and now it is working for Urb.

Speed is relative.

To be honest, I hope we get to play again. Let all the other peasants like Baylor and Clemson grovel.

Bama has played one team that should be ranked and is playing two FCS teams while Ohio State is playing two top ten teams. Congrats?

Good thing the committee looks at the team when we actually played them, not when they dumpster fired after we stole their soul.

I wouldn't expect to see OSU run on Bama like that this year. Not with that front line.

You'll need to be more specific.

Meaning teams like UGA who lost the QB and Chubb which, made them much easier. They used that example actually.

None of it really means anything honestly it comes down to preparation and who has the solid game plan. We can speculate all day on who would win the game but it may not mean anything.

Didn't they return three starters on the line, plus their MLB?

Georgia had wins over ULM, Vandy, USCe, and FCS before losing to Bama. You're kidding yourself if you think they'll be looked at as a top ten season in December.

Every team in the top 10 outside of Iowa beats Florida. And Ohio State is the biggest threat to Bama by a country mile. I don't care how uninspiring his team looks in the regular season. Urban takes his game to a completely different level in the bowl season. There's no question in my mind Ohio State will soundly beat any team they face in the playoffs that isn't Bama.

Yeah, because when Meyer had the deepest and best roster in the history of college football in 2009, returning every starter from a defense that beat the snot out of the 'greatest offense ever' from OU, and had Tebow, Pouncey brothers, etc - he did a great job with that team and managed to push their performance down to the level of competition in many games and then got stomped by Bama in Atlanta.

Meyer can only function when he's the underdog.

OSU hasn't played a ranked team, 10 weeks into the season. How is that possible? I can't recall an SEC team, ever, going ten weeks without a ranked opponent.

OSU could very easily go on a 3 game losing streak to finish the year.

Koksmüch. There you are. I wouldn't put any $ on OSU finishing with a three game losing streak. Bitching about Meyer's team in '09. What a shameful POS statement you spewed. He went 12-1 that year, only losing to Bama. He put a beat down on Cincy in the Sugar. He brought two titles in three years to Gainesville, dipshit. Yet you still are @sshurt over it. Truly pathetic. At least he doesn't pull a Bama and give up in the Sugar Bowl because the NC is off the table. He got his guys to play with a chip on their shoulders and it showed.
