Every team in the top 10 outside of Iowa beats Florida. And Ohio State is the biggest threat to Bama by a country mile. I don't care how uninspiring his team looks in the regular season. Urban takes his game to a completely different level in the bowl season. There's no question in my mind Ohio State will soundly beat any team they face in the playoffs that isn't Bama.

Here's the only way Meyer could get to Saban

Talking like Saban is in anyway better with his teams of gangbangers , women beaters and dog starvers .

On the OPs question, I'm never counting out Florida after 2006- struggle to win all year then turn it on when it counts .

The coach that did that is doing it again at tOSU. No one prepares for bowls like Meyer. Him and his Buckeyes are easily the biggest threat to Bama in the playoffs.

It all hinges on the Notre Dame / Stanford game imo. And If ND gets beat, which I think they might. It sets the play-off up pretty easy if everything goes Chalk.

Clemson/ UNC- Clemson wins and gets 1-2 spot, UNC upset gets the 4
Bama/ UF- Bama wins and gets 1-2 spot, Gators win get 2-3 spot
tOSU/ Iowa- bucks win gets 1-3 spot, Iowa win gets 3-4 spot
Bedlam ( okst/ou ) winner gets 2-4 spot

The PAC is out no matter what happens, Stanford nor Utah is getting in with 2 losses over a 1 loss champ/ND.

Florida won't beat any of those teams because Treon Harris.

Why? Are you hoping for a jinx? I hate to break it to you, but it will take an act of God for Florida to even make it interesting.

I don't think Ohio State cares about earning your respect. Urban Meyer loves that he hasn't. Makes his job that much easier.

Exhibit A: LINK

You haven't even played a ranked team yet.

Exhibit B: TideSaint posted this on the bama board.

quote:

I took the top 12 teams in the AP Poll to see who each team played and how many wins/losses these teams have.

1. Clemson-62 wins-58 losses Have 6 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

2. Ohio St-62-59 Has 5 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

3. Alabama-75-44 Only has 1 team (ULM) with a losing record on their schedule.

4. Ok St-61-57 Has 5 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

5. ND-66-53 Has 6 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

6. Iowa-57-64 Has 7 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

7. Ok-64-64 Has 4 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

8. Fl-59-59 Has 6 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

9. Mich St-66-55 Has 4 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

10.Baylor-59-60 Has 6 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

11.TCU-57-61 Has 7 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

12.No Caro-59-61 Has 5 teams with a losing record on their schedule.

I find it very strange that while all these talking heads, no one ever mentions this. I mean they gush over Clemson but they played a 4-6 Wofford, 3-7 Ga Tech, 3-7 BC, 3-7 Syracuse and their last 2 games are against 3-7 WF and 3-7 SC.

Dude had a 40 yard head start with 40 to go. Even that slow Bama secondary managed to catch him.
