adrian peterson has 100 yards in his first game as a true freshman. no doubt Fournette will be good, but really, LSU fans, you guys paraded around here all off-season telling us how this guy will be a heisman contender and is the greatest college prospect in the last decade.

Professional journalist and TV anylists and former coaches and recruiting services said those things, they weren't made up on campus.

The guy is young and was overly excited. I noticed his "vision" didnt suck averaging 25 yds per kickoff return.

there was actually a block in the back on that play, georgia OL #61

HAHA...nice try. It's not a block in the back if a dude falls down in front of you and you touch him to move around him...sorry

Just like Gurley's kickoff...its not a block in the back if the defender turns around at the last second just to get a call...

I wouldn't really call some things excuses if they are also fact. We were trying to run him straight into the teeth of a stacked box and run blitzes. Very vanilla play calling and very predictable in the first half as well. Not exactly a recipe for success running the ball but carry on with the trolling and I'll carry on bookmarking.

That was a pretty obvious foul but I have to say that big boy was right by his side all the way

down by 10 with 10 mins to go, they didn't quit...I believe Chubb's was the nail in the coffin...

1st, I am not sure why UGA fans even care. Ya'll have Gurley, geaux enjoy it.

I didn't see any reasonable LSU fans say he would be better than Gurley or any UGA back this year.

With regards to your statement, there is a big difference in Clemson mentaly not wanting to quit and just getting the frick ran over.

Gurley made them his bitch and they had no CLUE how to stop the run.

1st point. It was LF's 1st game. He looked like a freshman. I am glad UGA has and had freshman that look like world beaters, really I am. It is good for the SEC and college football.

2nd point. It wasn't just LSU fans, but the entire fricking nation crowing LF the next AP. I am just amazed the dude isn't a giant douche yet. He is VERY humble and works hard.

3rd point. LF has a huge ceiling. I think he will grow into it this year by mid season once the college game slows down for him.

Leonard Fournette has no vision

LSU fans will probably jump all over this, because how dare we analyze the greatest recruit in the past 10 years.

seriously though, this guy has really limited vision from what i watched in the wisky game.

LINK #1 - watch Wisconsin's outside lineback at the top. barely moves throughout the entire progression of the play, and Fournette runs right into him. he actually starts lowering his shoulder 2 yards out to run into the guy. meanwhile the ENTIRE top of the field is completely empty. if fournette goes to the left at all, he scores.

LINK #2 same exact situation here, only worse. top olb barely moves on the entire play and fournette runs right into him and gets taken down at the line of scrimmage. once again, there is nothing but empty space to his left, and he would undoubtedly have scored if he wasn't magnetized to the wisky linebacker.

adrian peterson has 100 yards in his first game as a true freshman. no doubt Fournette will be good, but really, LSU fans, you guys paraded around here all off-season telling us how this guy will be a heisman contender and is the greatest college prospect in the last decade.

from what I saw, he looks like just another 5 star recruit that is going to take quite some time to figure out the college game.

Hmmmm, yes, I see what you mean.

This thread is awesome. I would have no idea how to make gifs like that.

LF7 made one move to the left that showed good vision, just missed the second cut.

LB had solid contain.

As an LSU fan, I have to TOTALLY agree with you. But in time, in time...

Hilliard got the lions share of carries in the second half. Anybody trying to write off Fournette after the first game is a complete idiot.

Yeah, Magee averaged over 7 yards per carry last year and he averaged just over 1 yard per carry on Saturday. We were having issues and Wisconsin had the whole team at the line. Every game won't be like that. And first games are first games...

This would be like an LSU fan saying that Speedy has bad hands because he had a couple of drops in his first game. And, both of those opinions would be false at this point in time.
