I'll say it right now. Texas A&M is more of a threat to Alabama than LSU is.

What a surprise from Herbstreit re: LSU.

He was embarrassed on national TV in '07 when he got the story wrong about Miles going to Michigan and has dissed LSU since.

He's doing fine in his role as junior Brent Musburger.

More than any bama fan, he needs to keep his head up while on LSU's campus.

Miles was going to Michigan until Herbstreit broke the story.

I have said for four weeks that I feared aTm more than LSwho. We match up well with LSwho and it will be a slobberknocker as always and who ever makes the least mistakes will win. aTm is in the usual spot of Miss St on our schedule and that game has always been difficult after a physical game with LSwho. It is always hard to play well after a highly hyped game and this one is.

Bama has a couple of LBs who will run JFF down and stick him up his own arse.

Herbstreit also predicted back in August that USC and FSU would play in the national championship this year. He's an idiot.

Even if the Ags somehow approach 30 points against Bama we will have no answer for AJ and the Tide running game. Once Bama establishes the run then AJ will pick apart our weak secondary (If AJ was LSUs QB the Aggies would've gotten blown away 2 weeks ago).

While I mostly agree with Herbie's thoughts, I'm certainly not overlooking LSU this week. They are gonna be highly motivated, and the crowd is gonna be JACKED. I think its gonna be a good one.

This herbstreet guy is splendid reading. I was spellbound. He should do sports opinions

Think he is just saying that LSU Plays right into Alabamas hands. A&M is at least a curveball that could create some matchup problems.

Yeah, I'd agree with that though LSU may have a more decent chance to actually win with special teams and turnovers than he gives credit.

Regarding A&M, he makes the assumption that their defense will hold up. However, that's quite a big question mark.

Butt Hurt by whom about what?

Aggies spout off more than any other fan base I've ever seen when they have NOTHING to spout off about. And it's not new - they've been losing for decades yet spouting off for decades.

Do I love LSU? YES.

Do I think LSU will almost certainly lose to Alabama this year? YES.

Does that make A&M any better or better than LSU? Not a prayer in hell.

NOBODY willing to bet on it and not being paid to make provacative statements really thinks that A&M has any prayer in hades of coming up with an offensive plan to beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa that will take Alabama's coaches more than a few plays to figure out and crush. Again, JFF will have a ton of turnovers, the Aggies' defense will give up big plays and points and the Aggies will cry on Sunday morning "if only we didn't have so many turnovers and give up so many big plays" yet again.

You guys have spent the life of program with a delusional inferiority complex to your big brother program in Texas. You are in the SEC now. Grow up, grow a pair and stop trying to prove you belong. You are an average team in the best conference in the land. Average teams don't get the right to spout off without looking like douche bags.

So try harder to not look like a douche bag.

He also predicted Auburn would win the West in 2010.

Nah, but we do think we should have won that game. C'est la vie, next time.

You've got to cross LSU's 35yd line more than once in the last 37 minutes of the game for that to happen...
