To hell with you state fans? You only grind in starkville?

I went last year and had an awesome time. Keeneland was great and won 11 dollars. Have to turn it down this year though for Dega

That's a long trip to watch an arse whooping. Maybe when y'all are competitive again I will make it. I really do want to see a game there within the next 5 years.

I understand how you feel but its still going to be a good game and the grinders are coming to town.
Belle is taking out her personal feelings on a bunch of teenage kids who are doing the best they can. I say you support the team and protest in more constructive ways but our Belle is not wired that way.

Like? And please don't tell me some letter writing campaign to Frankfort for bonding because I've expressed myself plenty over that to those who will listen.
What speaks louder to an administration then empty seats on national TV? I've done the sitting through 2 win seasons and probation in my lifetime so you can spare me that I'm not supporting the kids business too.
I feel bad for the players but at some point something has to give. All the AD cares about is butts in the seats, paying the bills of the other sports, while spending the minimum. There's enough money there to at the very least conduct a coaching search instead of handing the keys to a guy who has no HC experience. A coaching change the most financially feasible move right now given UK's funding circumstances.
How long have you been a season ticket holder?

And FWIW, I'm not going because those kids deserve better. Especially the talent we have on this team.

My exact sentiments during the tail end of the Croom years.
Here's to a good game and dogs doing our part in getting UK a new coach.

Don't worry Kentucky fans, February 27th you'll get to beat up on the hapless dawgs in basketball. The beating we give your football team will pale in comparison to the whooping you'll put on our basketball team.

I'm just hoping that we actually play a defensive game that we're capable of playing.
This whole soft-zone, backup player, no blitz shite is getting tiresome.
Our game plan the past 2 games would consider "boring" as a compliment, and it's frustrating because it's so blatantly obvious.

I have family members going. They went last year and had a really good time. I hope the fans extend the same type of welcome this year.

I will not be there. I do know a few people that are making the trip. There are gonna be some grinders walking away from commonwealth this weekend with a 3-0 career record.

I do too.
But I am looking forward to removing that all-time losing record against UK.

I expect a game about like last year. We'll get up 24-7 sometime in the early third quarter, and Mullen will play it safe the rest of the game. Joker will put in Towles in desperation, and he'll throw for about 250 yards. They'll move the ball to our 30 yd line a couple of times, but the D will clamp down. I figure will give them a junk td near the end of the game. Final 24-14.

Again you think it is as simple as a new coach and new debt. I hate to tell you but it is not that simple. I remember a time when the K Fund was the BW Fund and I can remember a time when there was no fund at all.
The correct answer is attracting long term Fortune 500 companies that will write the really big checks necessary to compete at the top level. Even if you get that show me Top 10 dual programs in the USA and they do not exist.
Alabama has football but not basketball
Kentucky has basketball but not football
Oklahoma has football but not basketball
Kansas has basketball but not football
Michigan has football but not basketball
Indiana has basketball but not football
Southern Cal has football but not basketball
UCLA has basketball but not football
SC has football but not basketball
NC has basketball but not football
The state of Texas has gobs of money but even they can not dominate college sports across the board. If resource management means UK can only assure success in one sport at the expense of the other would you kill the golden goose for some chicken eggs?

No offense, but that is total bs.
I can't believe you are honestly making excuses for your football program on the basis of corporate money, when the program RIGHT down the road in Louisville has risen to a powerhouse once already in football(prior to their current major corporate help) and appears to be heading back there. They don't have nearly the money or following of UK(yes, I realize the city built the new arena and Papa John helped on the stadium). Fact is, you just have to make the RIGHT hire. You don't have to go out and get John Gruden, you just have to get someone that fits your program, can recruit to UK, and is willing to do what it takes to build/sustain a program longterm. What is Louisville paying Strong? Just bumped to 2.3 mil? No reason UK can't pay a coach $2.5-3mil to consistently be as competitive as State currently is in football.
What about Florida? Those basketball and football programs are rolling.
What about Baylor? Very good teams(in all 3 sports), and they don't have NEARLY the revenue stream of UK.
Kansas St
Ohio St
Cincinnati
Missouri
Florida St
Michigan
Michigan St
Wisconsin
Baylor
Notre Dame
Florida
ALL were either ranked or received votes in the final AP poll last year in both basketball and football...
