She probably spends more combined time with the Saban's than anyone on the planet.

Correct. Alabama was also supposed to be A&M's first SEC game. But Saban made Mizzou his opener instead. I have heard this from a direct source(South Lake Carrol recruiting assistant sexy brunette with huge knockers). It's why A&M had two SEC West home games, Alabama had 4, the rest of the league had 3, and Mizzou played at Kyle Field again for the 3rd straight year. Saban has direct control over the "bridge schedules".

Good. Maybe Sumlin should step his game up.

These AD's need to get the frick over it. The difference between CFB and the NFL rests largely on these permanent rivalries. Fans are pleased by them and that in turn fills seats even when one team is on a streak. Take them away and you help kill the golden goose as there's little reason to watch CFB obsessively.

If LSU's AD - and for that matter other ADs - are soooooo concerned about fair schedules then I suggest the SEC West scheduling like UT, UF, and UGA do - our OOC competition puts the West and the rest of the conference to shame and UT does it regularly. Acting like there are a cupcakes in the SEC is absurd. Most SEC teams would be at the top of most other conferences and many would dominate.

IOW, whole lotta whining justified by bullshite rhetoric and not much reality. Only repetition has made people entertain the BS rhetoric.

Lol just saw this

Please provide your proof

I'd be happy to have you banned and prove you wrong in the same thread.

I had a scholly to play NAIA ball that was eventually cut when I was a freshman bc of cuts made within the school (and likely because I was white and short)

I transferred and tried out at MTSU and didn't make the team. For likely the same reasons.

I had scholly offers from 4 schools in TN, none of which were NCAA.

I have zero reason to lie, except about my name, because your arse decided to blast it on a public forum.

So frick you

No other SEC team can touch UT's OOC scheduling over the last 20 years. It may not always turn out the best but we at least put it out there on a regular basis. The only team that can come close is the state forced UF/FSU game, but that isn't voluntary, hell there are time UF doesn't leave the south/state for 75% of their games with voluntary instate patsies.

True but I give cred for UF for continuing it - you never know when things get streaky. Also UGA played a badass (overall schedule).

Neither can compare with UT's OOC scheduling over the decades but at the same time we've been rather insane to schedule the way we do. Any time, any team, anywhere is great for bragging but not a great strategy to give your team an edge.

Over the past 20 seasons, y'all have played 10 OOC games against teams that finished ranked. We've played 19.

You mean ACC teams typically end up ranked because the U and FSU own that league? Woulda thunk it. Not the same though.
