The park is nice. Hotels are abundant. There is an international airport 20 miles away. There are enough Arkansas/LSU/Texas A&M alumni in DFW to sell that place out easy.
Yeah, Frisco is awesome. It's quite a trek from Gainsville, but having it there every once in a while would be nice.

Your fortunate to have new places to go to.

We have been having this conversation since at least 2000.

We have been everywhere many times over. Now we just want to improve on it. SEC does a lot of things right, but the baseball tourney could be so much better. Location could make a huge difference.

Especially since the SEC network will be investing into college baseball.

And I agree ATM did not bring that many fans to the 2012 Alabama game. Very Weak showing from a school the size of ATMs with your purported school spirit.

UF didn't even sell out Friday or Saturday vs LSU in Gainesville when it was #1v3

I thought A&M brought a lot of fans. The only fanbase I remember bringing more was Penn State

Houston would be my vote. That would be awesome. Or rotate the site every year.

No not at all. I was at both games. Penn state made an impression and had fun.

Not that many Aggies. Most of them would try to make conversation about how much better college station was.

It was late in the year and i know a lot of Aggies that planned on going to Ole Miss game as their one road trip that year. There may have been some fatigue in their fans which is fair.

This would be great for OM, LSU, and State.

Agreed. Especially for a sport like baseball, branding opportunities in am area like DFW seem important.

Dell Diamond would be sweet as one of the western rotational spots too

I was at both too. A&M had their entire lower level section full and nearly the entire South Upper. They didn't bring as many as Tennessee used to when they were good, but certainly beat the other SEC teams

(the poverty, that is

Um, yes. It's the impoverished LSU fans that spend $150k on a diesel pusher just to follow their baseball team that are the problem here. Certainly it's not the A&M fans who apparently can't afford a $99 Wanna Get Away fare from HOU-BHM to support their team.

I would love this and it would give the SEC some great exposure in Texas. Frick it that it is a long way from Gainesville. We don't make up very many fans in Hoover anyway. It's a 10 hour drive from Pensacola. Not terrible.

Charleston would be awesome, actually the coolest city in the south.

But mostly i think having it in Alabama every year is complete bullshite. Hoover sucks arse.

Yeah Georgia Southern fields a good team most years but other than that it is a crapshoot. I'd love if we hosted the ACC tournament but I don't see that happening.

I'd vote to rotate it around, along with every other sport championship.

Except SEC golf needs to be played at Augusta National every year.

That's because tamu had to honor season ticket obligations at Kyle field, and the b12 only required 6,000 tickets per away school and was reciprocated with their away schools. That's been eliminated now with their expansion.
