You honestly believe florida/bama are on even ground?
Posted on 4/10/13 at 11:12 am to suleimon
so you're all saying if UGA had scored on the last play of the SEC title game this past year, it would be reversed .. and the East would be hands down better than the West? 8 yds makes an entire canyon as most of you see it , really ??
i would bet anythng, that if that had happened, and UGA went on to win the BCS, that would not be the case ...
you would all be saying ... 3 out 4 makes the west better one final drive doesnt change anythin, excuse, excuse, excuse...
Is that right?

I give up. If you can't see that one dominant team doesn't make a division dominant then I'm wasting my time.

You'd be wrong. I think most admit that both divisions are close. But the west has one the last 4 titles. Therefore advantage west. If the east had won, advantage east.
Simple concept.

You're dense. I said they were in the comparison the Gator fan was making they were. Neither team lost to the other division last year. They both went 2-1 against TAMU, LSU and UGA and neither lost to the other division.

What are we lead to believe sir? The west has won the sec title 4 consecutive times. Coming into this season, the west is the favorite to win it again. Imho that makes the west the much better division. It would be difficult to argue that west is better had georgia beaten alabama.
Over and over, whether it was lsu, auburn, or bama the west has beaten the east. These are our most recent/definitive games that clearly give the west a decided edge.

Hey! What happened to "SEC ! SEC ! SEC !"
This thread is like rival frat boys on the same campus beating each other up.
Who cares which SEC Division is 'relatively' stronger? I think they're both pretty damn strong:
West: Bama, A&M, LSU, OM ranked in preseason
East: Georgia, Fla., USCe ranked in preseason
Possibly SIX in the Top 12-15.
Plus darkhorses Miss.State, Tennessee, Vandy
And probably improving Arky, Aub, Mizz.

Goddamn we are driving this page count up . Now you call me dense. After I was respectful of your opinion even if I disagreed with it. We seem to be getting nowhere lol.

I was gong to give up but you think I was saying Bama and Florida were on even ground...when I was just saying the UF dude's comparison would put them on even ground. Since you and Patton both think that's what I was saying maybe I could've worded my response better because I'd be retarded to think they were on even ground. My apologies.

No problem sir. I'll go with the divisions are close. Maybe I was giving the west too much of an advantage. My bad.

Well, we did beat the team that beat y'all last season. Just saiyan.
But no, we're not on even ground.

Georgia, USC, and UF are all strong Top 15 teams in the East. The next best though is probably Vandy right now. UT and Mizzou are floundering and UK is in Step 1 of a major rebuild
Anyone want to guess who Mark Womack (Nick Saban's bitch) will put as Bama's cross Divisional rival next year.

I think people are sleeping on ole miss. Imho, hugh freeze is a good coach and is bringing in top quality talent to a program that needs a kickstart to wake up and perform.
It wouldn't surprise me to see them beat some teams they "shouldn't" in the coming years. Watch out for the rebs.

Dude,
You have entirely too much time on your hands. Come back when you can pose a legitimate question.
