Fair enough. We can agree to disagree. I mentioned auburn, lsu, and of course bama. It wasn't only about bama. However I respect your opinion and it's all good in the hood. I think the west is easily the better division, you disagree. We good.

When the best of the West has to hang on fo dear life in the Championship game, the level of play between the divisions has gotten very close. Since you are only using that as a barometer. Most recent history right? Or do you want to go back and count up all the SEC championship games? I can go one year or twenty, but you seem stuck on 4.

Yet again you're talking about the two best teams in each division, not the division as a whole. Your "logical argument" isn't logical. Had Oregon beat Auburn in the BCS game a few years ago, you wouldn't have been here telling us the PAC 10 North is the best division in college football.

In 2011 the West was far and away better. Last year it was fairly even outside of Bama. You can't just throw out games because you don't think they count. I didn't even bring up Georgia beating Auburn because that would be retarded, Auburn may as well have taken the season off.

4 is the recent history...it is what (imho) sets the west apart from the east. The 2012 version was close. The other 3 were shellackings. Odds on favorite to win the 2013 sec title?? The west. Which gives us even more proof that the west is the better division RIGHT NOW.

Currently? Yes. Can't really argue it until after this season.

It was fairly even with Bama. Bama was 2-1 vs the top 3 SEC teams they played, UF was 2-1 against the same teams. Bama squeaked by both of those wins, so did Fla. Like I said before, the West can thank A&M for keeping them on top, because without them I think the East was tougher.

Oregon beating auburn doesn't give us a sample size large enough to draw a conclusion. It would be one game. I'm saying 4 different game, with 4 different matchups, west vs east, and each time the west won. 3 of those were quite ugly.

The best division in football changes year to year so the sample size only has to be one year.

I agree. The defense will definitely be serviceable. If we can get some decent play out of the offense we could make a run at it.

The sec title has resided in the west since 2009. That hasn't changed. It MIGHT change this year. If it does, we revisit this topic and adjust accordingly. If it does not change, then we see that the west is the best division for a 5th year in a row.

Indeed I did and can see your point.

However the west is still superior and will be until a eastern team wins the game in hotlanta

I would agree except TAMU is in the west so Bama didn't lose to the east last year. Well really I guess that does put Florida and Bama on even ground in that comparison because Florida never lost to the west.
