It really is, im proud of that sign we have as you enter the state of Alabama that says, "Welcome to Alabama, Home of the 2009,2010,2011,2012, national champs. 3,000 and something days and counting.

Uhhhh the SEC is the best now and is the best of all time.

But for short periods during that era, specifically the late 90's, the Big 12 was better than the SEC.

Try again, porker.

It's stuff like this that makes me want to agree with the rest of the college football world when they make fun of the SEC fans for pulling for the entire conference or claiming their team is superior because the conference has won 7 straight national championships.

It's pathetic. No South Carolina fans would brag about "state pride" if Clemson won a National Title. You think Florida fans are proud of Miami and Florida State's National Championships?

No self respecting Aggie cheered for UTx against USCw and damn sure didn't brag about Texas state pride after. And Texans have more damn ego about state pride than anybody

When your state holds the title for 3,000 and something days, then get back to me on how you feel about state pride. I think it kicks arse.

Put it this way, if Alabama wins it this year, and Auburn has a shot at winning it the next year, and assuming Bama does not have a shot that year. I would honestly pull for Auburn to keep that shite in the state. Real human talk here.

Wow. Turn in your fan card. You no longer deserve it.

I bet you're in the minority amongst Bama fans when it comes to pulling for Auburn to win a National Title. If I'm wrong I'll leave SEC Rant forever.

I dont always pull for Auburn, but when I do, its to keep the national title in the state for the 6th year in a row.(This is the only way it happens, unless Bama needs them to beat another team for us to squeak into a championship or something, nothing wrong with some Auburn foosball to me, And I would pull for them in a bowl game against a gay texas, or a homo Ohio state)

I'll be honest, I did not want them to beat us, or win in 2010, at all. But I'm at a point now, where it would be cool to see. Basically, I'm not butt sore any more.

Pulling for your rival anytime amounts to heresy and is grounds for excommunication from college football fandom.

The top 6 teams in the league last year (Bama, LSU, UF, USC, UGA, aTm) were pretty much even. Then you have Ole miss and Vandy that were similar.

Thats 3 top, 1 mediocre and 3 shite teams in each division. Anyone that believes the west is still on top, or worse that Bama is head and shoulders above the rest of the league, is delusional.
