Over the past years we've seen runs by Bama/LSU in the West, mostly Bama though and UF ran the conference for a time. With AM's success and UGAs and USC emergence is the SEC the most balanced it's ever been? In order SECE: UGA, UF, USC, Vandy, pure shite shows. SECW: Bama, TAM, LSU, OM, pure shite.

LSU would run the conference if they didn't have to play Florida every year.

Not to take away from your original point, because yes, I agree, the SEC is very balanced and deep IMO. But What order are u using here?... LSU finished 2nd in the West in 2012 and MissSt finished 4th ahead of Ole Miss.

I do think the West is a lot deeper than the East, though, considering the current "cellar-dwellars" in the West have played in BCS games fairly recently (Auburn and Arky) and the other true cellar-dweller Ole Miss appears to be on the rise. I don't think MissSt/Aub/Arky deserve to be labeled "pure shite" just yet, especially not MissSt.

More teams are now competing at the top ten level than ever before, but not sure the league is anymore balanced now than it has been the last several years.

If Bama manages to win it this year, the only league balance will be with the teams way behind Bama.

LOL- You can't run a conference if you can't beat another team or if you're scared to play another team.

ARK would run the conference if they didn't have to play BAMA, LSU, A&M, etc, every year. LOL

That's great but the OP was referencing the SEC, and they also finished fifth in the conference. Welcome to the SEC.
