Ok. You've literally failed to address anything that I've posited. Disregarding *every other poster* in the thread, can you provide a logical response that answers even one of the things that I've brought up? I know it's been a long few pages and some pretty deep statistical analysis but surely you have some logical breakdown of how Ole Miss recruiting is outright better than Tennessee's given the mountain of evidence I've given you to assess.

You can continue to say that average ranking of 4 year classes shows Ole Miss with a slight advantage... but at no point at the onset of this debate did you state that this was the basis for your argument. You made a qualitative statement that Ole Miss had recruited better than Tennessee. That's the problem with qualitative statements, they are your opinion. I'm guessing you've heard the similarities between opinions and assholes. What I've provided in this thread is statistical evidence that at worst, the two programs have recruited essentially at the same level by every metric which could be conceivably considered balanced. You can choose to accept it, or not.

Assuming you continue with the "not", do you have an answer for how you believe a short recruiting cycle for a 1st year head coach is a logical time period to compare against a 2nd year head coach who has had a full cycle?

I've got no probs with anyone. I simply was hoping that DJ had some sort of basis for his claim. I should have known better than to expect that though.

Actually looking forward to the game against you guys next season. Hoping I can make the trip out there, but looking like probably not with a little one. Never made the trip to Oxford though, so *maybe* I can talk the Mrs into going (might have to 'volunteer' to go to a UT game up in Knoxville in trade though). I don't anticipate that we win, but I think we've got an outside chance at it. As long as we look competitive, I'll be happy.
