I can move to emoticons, memes, and gifs if it's easier for you to comprehend.

ETA:

quote:

Yes I did. This has been my basis all along. How many more times do I have to repeat myself. While the timeframe more conveniently fits my narrative than UT's, I'm still right.

Reading comprehension is your friend. "at the onset" - from your initial statement, no reference was made to a specific time period nor the metrics that would be used to evaluate the difference.

First reference to time frame: "Right. That 47th ranked class in 2012 doesn't skew the results whatsoever"

Which in and of itself is an admission that year 1 for Freeze would make for an unfair comparison, *but*, no reference was made to the fact that it would include a year of Derek Dooley... therein lies an additional problem. You wanted to change the argument to Hugh Freeze vs. Butch Jones... rather than the initial argument that was made Ole Miss vs. Tennessee - which is technically independent of coaches. So if you want to argue semantics rather than logic, you still fail to make a valid point.

It took you to the bottom of the second page to change the argument to fit the narrative you'd selected:
quote:

If we're basing this off of the present (which Tennessee fans are so reluctant to comply with) and comparing the era of when both coaches were at their current institutions, a Vol fan has already been kind enough to validate that they in fact do not have better talent than Ole Miss.

One would argue, that if you're allowed to both change the criteria being evaluated *and* select a time frame, Vols would be allowed to ensure a fair comparison - one that eliminates the bias against a first year coach.

...Meaning that they were completely unnecessary seeing as how the four year time frame was my point and had been made apparent from page 1 (and reiterated on numerous occasions). This is all getting redundant. You lost. It'll be alright

Read additional comments above. You are missing the point. It's ok.

You've got poor Dustin so spun around his answer in the 'rate your class' thread was 'better than Tennessee's.'

You guys should start charging rent. I'll take a royalty check on a quarterly basis.

Either he was already in the thread, at which point it's not name dropping, it's simply referencing you in the discussion *or* he's actively looking for threads where he's been brought up. Glass houses and all.

Well, this has already been refuted (this time period was not specified until after you made the claim that Ole Miss > Tennessee recruiting.) so we've come full circle.

I'll return to my previous response given that this is your stance:

Assuming you continue with the "not", do you have an answer for how you believe a short recruiting cycle for a 1st year head coach is a logical time period to compare against a 2nd year head coach who has had a full cycle?

I'll save you some time... you are either resting on the fact that you later selected an illogical time period that served your narrative but failed to provide a convincing argument, which has been made abundantly clear throughout the thread - or - you were simply incorrect.

The only reason this conversation was even started were due to the rankings posted initially being a four year span. The original poster was butthurt when I called him out on it and he proceeded to edit to include a fifth year - which included Freeze's 47th ranked class in order to skew the numbers and flip the script on me. It's documented. Go check it out

For someone who constantly references reading comprehension, you fricking suck at it

I wasn't butthurt. Both timeframes shite on your constantly changing argument. I edited it before you called me out. Pussy
