He was already firmly committed to Auburn by the time he became Elite 11 MVP. That's when his stock started to rise. Before that teams were cautious because of his size. Teams like Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and Miami all began to recruit him AFTER the Elite 11 but he showed zero interest in anybody but Auburn so they didn't bother with a formal offer.

Trust me, if White had been a signing day decision his offer list would've looked a lot different.

Sean White was named Elite 11 MVP on July 3rd, 2013. He committed to Auburn on July 16th, 2013.

He was on preseason heisman lists for a reason and he looked like he belonged when he was throwing to our 2014 wr corp.

It was a fairly small sample size though and Arkansas had a lot to do with that.

Sean White starts in the opener, JJ comes in on goal line situations, Gus may have a play or two with JF3 but may not be able to use it if Clemsons D shows up to play.

Since I can't disproof this statement I won't try, but there is a lot of assumption based on no information. At the end of the day he does some things well and lacks some key components any D-I program would want in its QB (DT or PS).

to be Auburn's starting QB this year? quote: He will be a cancer on the team if things get tough or don't go his way. He has a history of it at FSU and now at EMCC. Talented kid, but comes with baggage.

Shuck is just stating what all the FSU folks say about JF3. Sure, he may be JFFB Manziel II. It's just hard to imagine since he couldn't even beat out Seam McGillicutty in Tallahassee.

FSU and AU run a different style Offense. JF3s main asset is his legs and FSU wanted someone that could sit in the pocket more. At 175 lbs (now 190 lbs), JF3 did not fit that mold for Fisher.

Agree with this assessment of game 1.

How many quarterbacks are signing day decisions these days? It's almost not possible these days to keep schools hanging until then at QB. Almost every top QB is wrapped up by summer before senior year.
