quote:6 red zone chances without a TD is what I would point to first, but it isn't a big deal. I'm pretty sure we aren't going to agree.
There's nothing that comes even remotely close it supporting it though.

LOL
Game was no where close as the score but what ever makes you feel better.
If our coach wasn't brain dead, we would have won by 20. 6 field goals? No touchdowns. Do you really account that on your defense or our offensive play calling

I never said you couldn't beat a les talented team.
You're quoting the wrong person.

I'm pretty sure he was letting the guy know you were a Bama fan and not an LSU fan.

Me being a Bama fan has nothing to do with this. How does me saying the West is between Bama and Auburn put Auburn down? Still waiting for an answer on that one.

Not sure if serious. He was responding to an AU fan that had responded to you under the mistaken belief that you were an lsu fan.

Yep, I thought Othello was LSU fan.

My bad. No, I'm far from an LSU fan but I have respect for them and Aubie.

I think we probably end at 9-4 this year after the bowl game, hopefully. Could really build off that.
I am not sold at Malzahn but I think he has still been learning how to be a HC at a big time program since he got here. Maybe he'll figure it out.

You're an idiot. And LSU sucks. DWI.

The game was not in hand for AU, at any point.
quote:Hell yeah it should have been "in hand" way before the final seconds/minutes were ticking away. Auburn kicked half a dozen fricking field goals.
I know, but it probably should have been. Or at least, much more in hand than it turned out.

This thread is insane. Suggesting LSU is more talented than Auburn is subjective at best. Using High School recruiting rankings is also moronic. Auburn has landed 10-6 in the same window of time where LSU has landed 5-9. That is literally the difference between signing one more 5 star or 2 more 4 stars, etc...I don't have the time to do it but a look at draft potential and NFL ability to make a roster would state who has more physical talent. That won't be determined for some time. I would't trade many LSU players for Auburn's right now. But I'd trade a couple.
Saying LSU could have won the game "if" x would have happened is silly. They really only had the final chance to win that game. Auburn squandered a minimum of 5 good opportunities to put that game away (a sign of team learning to win) LSU had one and the screwed it up by not handling the end game well. The game was closer to being a 2 touchdown loss by LSU than a win by LSU.
To the OP, yes, again Auburn is the most underrated team based on early season and preseason thoughts.

quote:You can't blame people for being apprehensive about AU with their preseason thoughts. And that circus Gus put on the field in the early season vs Clemson reinforced the preseason thoughts even further.

But - we now see that the defense is solid for the first time in years and they are capable of carrying their share of the load to take the pressure off the O.
Now that Gus "appears" to have stepped away and let his OC do his job, we saw a more productive offense against ULM & MSU.

How much eligibility can that guy have?

Not Stan White, it's Sean White - the snowboarder.
