Disagree. This year's offense is better than last year's and the defenses are pretty close, with the slight edge going to last year. This year's special teams, however, are far and away better than last year's.

Shhhh don't you know man? Everyone else is experts on Alabama football...not Bama fans. We don't know shite bruh!

Also my personal opinion is the two offensive coaching hires were big upgrades. Cristobal should but won't win the Broyles. And I like Napier better than Groh or Cignetti who I felt undercoached (or perhaps overcoached) our WR's. Every guy playing in the rotation at WR is showing some great mechanics that we haven't seen our guys do on a regular basis in a long time.

Bamas D is good. But their O is where they beat the better teams. You just Cain't out score their O going against their D.

No one has come close A&M excepted.
We get to see LSU give it a shot soon.

Their offense this year is one of the better in the Saban era.

Our horrible defense notwithstanding, few expected Bama to be able to win a shootout. They did, and would win that shootout at least 7 times out of 10.

Their team is a damn machine.

I would say this offense is the best in the Saban era. But its a coin flip with last years.

AJ is spreading the ball around which equals more targets in the pass game (Literally we have 7 guys with double digit catches but no one with over 27). And for the most part our guys have cured their annoying cases of the dropsies. Like I said a lot of this goes to AJ's experience but Napier needs to be credited as well.

And Cristobal/Napier have both been two of the most underrated assistant coaching moves that was made this past offseason. This offensive line was supposed to see a massive dropoff.

If you look at what Saban has done and where the program is headed, just look at their 2014 commitments, you really Cain't do anything but tip your hat and move on.

What he's done with that O-line since the abysmal start is absolutely amazing.

The coolest thing is That is we've played/are playing 7/8/9 guys with the first team OL and not during garbage time.

He's also helping us put together the best OL recruiting class The University of Alabama has ever seen.

Yeah, I try not to get too effusive in my praise for a division rival, but of all the collegiate dynasties I've ever seen and read about, what Saban's done in this era is nothing short of amazing. Can't wait to take 'em down, but I can appreciate greatness when it's winning week in and week out

Look where your staff has brought your O line since spring.
He played new bees last year and he is doing the same this year.
If you show that you will work he will find a place to get you on the field.
You do not have a 2 deep. It's much more than that,

But its more than that. Even last year the OL which so much was hyped about gave up untimely QB hurries, sacks, and penalties. This year was supposed to be a huge drop off and we got a new coach. And our OL has defied all conventional wisdom concerning OL that if you go through a season playing several different OL combinations that your offense will struggle. Like I said in non-garbage time - Cyrus K, Arie, Steen, Lindsay, Kelly, Shephard, Hill, Willams, Taylor, and Brown have all played with the 1st team OL. Why Cristobal isn't even get more recognition from fellow Bama fans is amazing. We are averaging more yards per carry, less sacks, and less penalties on the offense in general but especially the OL.

Lil Bro syndrome again?

Geez Auburn....

And for the record, the Lil Bro loses the IB 49-14 this season but make t shirts celebrating the fact that they scored two tds on the Bama scout team late in the fourth.

Alabama gives up 280.9 ypg.

Their opponents, outside of facing Alabama, average 427.4 ypg.

Alabama holds opponents to 66% of their usual offensive production (or, put another way, takes away a third of their offense).

That's pretty good....

So the one good offense they played put up 6 football fields of yardage and 42 points on them. Got it.

Alabama has had the best defensive 5 year run of any program in the modern era, and it's not even f'ing close.

They put up a stat last week of the # of TD's given up since the 2009 season.

Alabama was #1 with like 77.

LSU was #2 with like 129.

The rest of the top 5 were all like 130-140'ish.

So not only is Alabama #1, they are #1 by an insanely large margin.

As usual, Dumb Auburn fans have to be taught about college football.

For starters offensive yardage is not key anymore as some teams run far more plays so YPP (yards per play) is a better , more subjective critera. To prove it doesn't matter much I give you ESPN offensive rankings as pertaining to YARDS PER GAME BELOW.

5. Northern Illinois
6.Texas Tech
7 Ball St.
9.Wyoming
10.orgBrigham Young
15.Boise St
19.Western Kentucky
20.Troy
22.California
27.Bowling Green
28.Indiana
31.Georgia Tech
33.Houston
34.Nevada
35.UNLV
36.Wazzu
38.Ohio
39.SMU
41.Duke
42.Utah
43.Rice
44.COLORADO ST. (not 63)
45.North Texas
46. San Jose St.
49.Toledo
51. Cincy and Nebraska
53.Northwestern
54.Arizona
57.Iowa
58.W.V.
60.Marshall
61.Kent St.
62.East Car.
63.South Alabama
65.Stanford
66.Akron
67.Louisiana Lafayette
69.Lou. Tech
72.Ark. St
73.Buffalo
75.Temple
79.SDSU
80.Middle Tenn.
81.New Mexico
82.New Mexico St.
84.Eastern Mich.

Now , show me one team out of that whole pile of shyt ( besides Stanford ) that's any good LMAO.

If any of those teams played Bama and was held to 200 yards but averaged 400-500 a game that would knock 50-75 yards per game off their average , knocking them WAY WAY DOWN.Also, these crap teams who play each other and both teams run the hurry up , then they both get many more plays in a game , MORE PLAYS, MORE YARDS , EVEN A FOOL CAN UNDERSTAND THIS.

YPP is a better criteria in this day and age.

As for TAMU , they got Bama early , at home in 97 degree heat , with Belue out and were behind 21 and got a prevent look , and NEVER HAD THE BALL IN THE 2ND HALF DOWN BY LESS THAN 14.

Aubie's , keep trying to convince yourself you can beat Bama, but you better worry about Arkansas.

The most impressive Alabama stat to me is that they've only lost 1 game since 2009 by more than one score. (South Carolina 35-21)

Take that game away, and they've lost 4 games in 4 years by a combined total of 12 points.

That's truly insane.
