Ah-oh well we don't want to talk about that now do we.

And Georgia Souhern ran for nearly 400 yards against Alabama in 2011. Did that make them incapable of stopping "better offenses"? I guess not since LSU would cross the 50 yard line but once just a few weeks later.
The point...a unique offense/player that you don't see often isn't exactly the best litmus test. If LSU or Auburn find a JFF by kickoff I will worry.

-Tennessee without the Bama game is 62nd in scoring offense (74th with). 20 points below avg scored on Bama without Bama game.
-Arkansas without the Bama game is 92nd in scoring offense (105th with). 23 points below avg without Bama game.
-Kentucky without the Bama game is 96th in scoring offense (104th with). 16 points below avg. without Bama game
-Georgia State without the Bama game is 114th in scoring (118th with. Yeah Ga. State sucks). 15 points below avg. without Bama game
-Ole Miss without the Bama game is 25th in scoring (46th with). 37 points below avg without Bama game.
-Colorado State without the bama game is 25th in scoring (40th with) 31 points below avg without Bama game.
-Texas A&M scored less than their average by 6, but their ranking didn't change (4th with/without Bama game).
-Virginia Tech without Bama game is 91st in scoring (100th with). 13 points below avg without Bama game.
So that means the average rank with Bama game is 73rd. Without the Bama game it's 63rd.
Teams score on average 20.1 points LESS on Alabama than they do in all their other games. Alabama has not once given up more points than the other team's average.
That's all for stats tonight.

Is the Auburn offense overrated?? Defenses faced
and their rankings to date based on yds given up
Wash St - 96th
Arkansas St - 97th
Miss St - 30th
LSU - 24th
Ole Miss - 45th
W Carolina - would be 112th if they were D1-A
TAMU - 111th
Fla Atl - 58th
Average defense that Auburn has faced is 71st.
See how easy that is?

Its not the best defense Saban has had at Bama but it is still the best defense in the SEC this year.

That wasn't the question of the OP. But since you asked, I don't know. AU has been lucky thus far not facing top defenses.

Not a sleeper at all. We will see. We will see, I say! :)

Yes, they will be exposed eventually. Along with their O Line.
Only team getting exposed will be Auburn. I think we'll show the nation Auburn is about as mediocre as they usually are.

A&M had a 21-0 lead on Bama in 1st Q. Then you had a good 2nd Q. A&M outscored you in the 4th.
Maybe you dont know much about football.
Your argument is that the worst defensive performance in the history of the University of Alabama and in the history of Nick Saban - is somehow good.
Ask Saban what he thinks about that performance - he will not agree with you.
You are not worthy of football discussions due to lack of knowledge of the sport. A&M game was a score at will.
Im glad you are proud of your D.
The difference in Bama fans and other fans - and why your fans get the dumbest fan tag, is because any other school would just say - yes yall blew our D up. We had no answers, thank god our O saved us. No you actually try to argue about the A&M O.

Who said we didn't get blew up? We still won the game and that is all that really matters.
And they only got up 14-0 before we scored.

Actually the score was 14-7 at the end of the first quarter. We tied the score fairly early in the second.

Who cares if it was good or not? We allowed over 600 yards of offense....and WON. How often does that happen in SEC play?
And since that game, we have only allowed 2 touchdowns to be scored. I don't care who you're playing - whether it be cream puffs or other SEC opponents - 2 touchdowns allowed in 6 games is very impressive.
If you knew anything about football you'd actually be able to appreciate that.

It will be an awesome game and no way Bama wins by 17 or more. Bama is not as good as last year and will be beat either the 9th or in the nc game for sure. Maybe both! If you make it.

Disagree. This year's offense is better than last year's and the defenses are pretty close, with the slight edge going to last year. This year's special teams, however, are far and away better than last year's.

I know one thing for sure, comparing the two defenses it is very obvious one of them is definitely not as good as last year. And its the one led by a guy known as Third and Chavis.

Texas A&M is a damn fine offense when they are firing at all cylinders. And the way you guys are recruiting the defenders and owning your home state it won't be long until you guys are scary great in all three phases.

Appreciate it.
In all honesty, most Aggie fans (including myself) expected middling success for awhile until our recruiting caught up. The JFF phenomenon jump started that process, though. We'll see where we're at in a few years
