Someone do those ranks without Bama included. Guaranteed the numbers will move closer to Top 50.

AU has outscored their 4 SEC opponents this year 120 to 118. Very telling stat.

This.

Alabama's defense this year is more than likely weaker than our defenses from 2011 and 2009 but it is still very strong. They are Top 5 in the nation in total defense, #1 in the nation in scoring defense, and are the only defense in the conference to record a shutout so far this year. And those shutouts weren't against St. Mary the Meek or the Alabama School for the Deaf & Blind. These were shutouts against SEC opponents, one of them being a Top 40 offense.

And while Ole Miss could have kicked field goals instead of going for it on 4th down, it still doesn't change the fact that they only gained 205 yards of offense on us that night.

Look - except for ole Miss there is no way to tell. A&M is a barometer and OM - the rest of the typical jake leg teams mean nothing.

I would be worried if I was bama that Duke beat tech.

A&M scored at will. Except for 1 pick the other was a receiver who ran a goal line plus route rather than a fade or that was 6.

LSU may start throwing it all over the place. This is possible. Then Hill.

Bama O will churn for certain.

It will be interesting.

Exactly. Relative to who else is the question.

Sixth straight year with Alabama having the easiest schedule in the SEC also.

Freeze gave UA that shutout, let's not be disingenuous.

LSU is 2-4 against Alabama in that time frame. Try again.

No. They are the best defense in the nation every year.

Why? It's not like Duke went up and down the field on them. Virginia Tech's defense did everything they could to win that game. Their offense is just that freaking bad.

Really? Because after Texas A&M went up 14-0 in the first quarter, Alabama went on a 35-0 run. People seem to forget that. And a lot of people also forget that A&M's offense was almost completely shut down for a quarter and a half. In the second half we lost our best corner to injury which allowed Manziel to record some late heroics.

While that may be true, it still doesn't change the fact that Ole Miss gained just 205 yards of offense. Ole Miss got into Alabama territory 3 times all game, and one of those instances was due to an interception deep in our own territory.

Aside from two drives they couldn't hardly move the ball at all.

Bama's D has held every sine opponent below their average. In fact, Bama has held those teams an average of 15 points per game below their PPG average. It would be different if those "crappy" scheduled teams played against Bama like they do others, but they don't. Bama makes them look worse than they do against any other team they play.

Look - you can break down a game however you want. Bama fans seem to not only like to win but also have the stats show something that they dont.

A&M put up more yardage than any team has vs. the Tide in its storied HISTORY. This after 10 months to prepare with consultants for God's sake and the most vs. Saban in his storied history.

To pick some areas when you stopped A&M rings hollow. It was the worst D in your schools history.

For God's sake just say A&M's d sucks and this is how we won. This is the truth.

JFF went 450 5 tds and 98 on foot bro. That is at will.

No...it really doesn't. That was the key to winning the game. Alabama stopped A&M's offense long enough to build a 35-14 lead. That was the difference in the game.

You really don't know anything about football do you?

Looks like the D did enough to beat, possibly, the greatest player in CFB history.

Is it at all possible that, that game was an outlier and not the norm? I
