All I could find regarding the matter is this quote from Mike Leach.

"How come they get to pretend they are soldiers? The thing is, they aren't actually in the military. I ought to have Mike's Pirate School. The freshmen, all they get is the bandana. When you're a senior, you get the sword and skull and crossbones. For homework, we'll work pirate maneuvers and stuff like that."

Isn't stolen valor a crime now? Can't have ppl running around pretending to be military when they haven't served.

I know people who graduated from A&M and did not serve in the military. However, I cannot say the same for people who graduated from military schools, like West Point and the Naval Academy.

I think all Aggys should be thrown in jail anyway for their weird arse obsession with class rings...what is this high school? Scrub.

That's not surprising, considering the school has 70k students and only about 2k are in the Corps of Cadets.

A&M is one of 6 senior military colleges, along with Norwich, Citadel, VMI, Virginia Tech, and North Georgia. A&M commissions more officers than any school other than the Academies.

No. SCOTUS said that such a law violates free speech protections.

quote:

In United States v. Alvarez the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on June 28, 2012, that the Stolen Valor Act was an unconstitutional abridgment of the freedom of speech under the First Amendment, striking down the law in a 6 to 3 decision.

I think A&M would probably beat Georgia Military College.

if by military academy, you mean service academy, then the answer is no. If you mean United States senior military college then yes. The Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets is a student military organization. About half receive a commission in the United States Armed Forces upon graduation.

There's no way A&M wouldn't have violated the older don't ask don't tell policy. They literally scream gayness. So no, they aren't.

The only thing more comical than their fake army is when their milkmen prance around on their tippy toes and chest bump each other after a touchdown

My mistake then. They do produce some entertaining YouTube videos though.

It’s not a military academy, it’s a senior military college. Service was once mandatory however now it is not. We still commission more officers than any school outside of the Air Force, Naval and Army academies.

Agreed. Hopefully Tennessee or Arkansas scoop him up.

I would criticize the OP for using such tired material for this troll.
But since this is the first time A&M and UGA have faced-off in the SEC, I’ll allow it.
Carry on.
