Historically Ole Miss and Arky are pretty even, with Arky having a slight edge. 7th and 8th in the conference.

This is disheartening. You need to at least put the piggies in their place moving forward.

Honestly where do Ole Miss/Arky rank?

Historic view - look at the championships

Last 20 years - Arky is a little better but has the same number of championships.

I'm really not trying to start anything and the answer is obviously Arkansas IMO

but if you look at Vanderbilt being around .500 all time that is actually a somewhat impressive statistic when they haven't had a winning season since 1982... that's 30 years with shite (9 seasons of which they had only 1 or 2 wins)

Arky obviously has a higher ceiling, better history, and free girlfriend texting for all their head coaches

I guess that is a little hard to judge, seeing as piggie only lucked their way in 20 years ago, but it would only take Ole Miss winning in one fluke year to restore order, right?

Stop it with these hypotheticals. They don't help me piece it all together. You're talking about eliminating history that I don't even remember in the first place. Leave the players there, and then make an argument.

I posted earlier the records of the 6 teams you asked about. In regards to how they stack up, it's:

Tier 1
UGA
AU

Tier 2
Arky
OM

Tier 3
Vandy
MSU

Did you mean 26 for Auburn maybe?

Not according to wiki.

kinda

FWIW - Ole Miss has won a lot more bowl games than Arky of late (and three times as many Cotton Bowls in the last ten years)

Vandy was 5-7 in 2007 and 6-7 in 2011

but I stand corrected RE: 2008. They were 7-6 in 2008 and that makes my earlier statement false

Okay. I don't think I included enough teams to help me piece it together.

How accurate is this? Since 1975(I choose this because we have a winning record over t.u. since then)

Tier 1
Bama
Tenn
UGA

Tier 2
LSU
Florida
Auburn

Tier 3
Ole Miss
Kentucky
State

Tier 4
Arkansas
South Carolina
Vandy

And you are saying in the last 20, Auburn has shifted up up a bit? UT maybe down just a tad?

Maybe. Arkansas leads the series against us by like 5 games, but we've won a lot more bowl games. Neither team has done much as far as championships in a long time.
