Isn't Auburn ahead in the series by one game or something?
I think it's one or two. Don't feel like looking it up but it's close. Pretty much even, that's why Cam put y'all ahead of us based on the last twenty or so years but overall it can be argued either way.

Yeah, but he was referring to just the last twenty years.

What the hell would they say? That they've won 3 straight egg bowls?
Posted on 5/8/12 at 12:12 pm to oklahogjr
that probably reads like I'm trolling but I didn't intend it that way - its just that Vanderbilt was pretty kick arse back in the 1900-1930 era
That doesn't you count for anything you say? Maybe it doesn't - but schools that stayed good like Michigan and Notre Dame would argue it should

This is what I find interesting. Take out the last 10 years, and LSU probably isn't close to either of you, but they have had one hell of a decade. What would it take for them to surpass you?
On a related note, what will it take for Vandy to pass Arky? This rivalry has me pumped.

So historically it is probably Georgia, but Auburn took the lead two years ago?
Auburn has been in the lead head-to-head for pretty much the entire modern era.
Since 1951 (Shug Jordan's first year as head coach at Auburn), the head-to-head record in the Auburn/UGA rivalry is AU with 33 wins, UGA with 26 wins, and 2 ties.

I agree. Arky has had more recent success, but their ceilings aren't too different, imo... fighting for 6th best in the division. Honestly where do Ole Miss/Arky rank?

check the stats a few posts up. We have our kickass decades as well.

UGA is #3 all time in the conference behind Bama and Tennessee. Auburn probably takes the lead in terms of past 20 years with Cam. Without Cam, we're probably slightly even
Well if you remove Herschel Walker Auburn takes the lead again...

Historically Ole Miss and Arky are pretty even, with Arky having a slight edge. 7th and 8th in the conference.

And if Bear Bryant stayed in College Station, Obama would have never gotten elected.
Stop it with these hypotheticals. They don't help me piece it all together. You're talking about eliminating history that I don't even remember in the first place. Leave the players there, and then make an argument.

Either the 66 is wrong or the 29 is wrong.
Did you mean 26 for Auburn maybe?
