If the LSU HC job was open, would Bielema be a good choice?

He would keep LSU a physical, smash mouth type of team, which would be great.

I'm sure he would drop the Arky gig in a NY second to come to a school with NC potential.

What say you?

The only other SEC coach I would take over him is Saban. I don't see him leaving Arky for anything other than the NFL.

It's a scary thought, with the talent he'd be able to land there.

Will never happen tho.

Its hard to pass over Steele. He'll have the D at an elite national championship level soon.

Hell no. We want a balanced offense with the potential to recruit top notch QB's. He would basically be CLM Jr.

Arkansas is a destination job. LSU is a stepping stone. Just ask Saban.

Inherited a dumpster fire and there has been marked improvement throughout. I trolled the frick out of Arky fans after pulling an 0fer last season but if you can't see their progress there's no helping you.

He might be tempted by Iowa if they ever came calling. But yeah I agree with you other than that.

Saban flew over Arkansas to get to LSU so I don't know how its a destination, more like a flyby.

That's why Long approached Miles first to get him an extension. Long knew Bert was the guy all along for tFlagship.

If by marked improvement you mean the team with the worst record in close games last year..........

Inherited a dumpster fire............they were #3 in the country 2 years before he took the job......1 recruting cycle didnt kill them.

And you heard me any LSU fan who seeks out coaches based off if they will stay is a fricking idiot. I want my coaches desired.....it's moronic to search for a coach based off if he will be "long term" or not......
