Um, we didn't join in 1990. Just started up the football program.

I don't think we should share bowl revenue either. That's BS.

For the teams that get a smaller pie...the door is open to leave, where you goin' though?

Start another conference with other mad schools?

Well, we are right about this particular issue.

aTm'ers talk about Texas too much.

Can't argue with that. Tho' every Texan talks about Texas too much. I don't think they know how weird it is to every other person on the planet.

What does that have to do with the SEC splitting SEC Network revenue equally?

Wasn't referring to them.

You don't think that the aTms were relating this topic to Texas.

Texas was right. I wouldn't want to split cash with TT.

This is about the SEC.

Agreed. And the SEC is going to follow the same model the NFL, B1G, PAC and ACC follows- splitting the money evenly.

Thanks to that attitude they don't have to split the money with A&M, Nebraska, Mizzou or Colorado either.

But UF wouldn't get shite then because Florida has the worst sports fans in America. None of them will order SECN.

Nope. aTm didn't just leave a conference in part because of the LHN. That wasn't even a consideration. My bad.

Anyway, we'll continue to give to the poors as always. We're a charitable bunch. Have a good night. It's dinner time.

Takes two to play a game. One might have higher viewership numbers, but the viewers are tuning in to see that team play another team, not their team run unopposed up and down the field. All teams are participating equally. The SEC Network is essentially a collective bargaining with the media, so it shares revenue equally. If y'all don't like bargain, y'all didn't have to enter into it. Texas provides a great example of a program that succeeded beyond its wildest dreams when they counted on the loyalty and fanaticism of their fans.

Um, they must be offering the SECN differently in Yankeeville, MO.

There's no ordering required here in the South.

It does take two. We can always just pay GSU to come get slaughtered. They need the cash.

I get why Vandy likes this model. I really do.

But Florida isn't in the South. It's basically just an extension of New Jersey, but with more cannibals and swamps.

so this is equal to us talking about them too much? Or us talking about how the big 12 did this is equal to us talking about them?

Suffer? Yes. Crumble? Nah.

Frankly, on the list of programs I'd least like to lose, UF is well behind LSU, Auburn, Bama, Georgia, and Tennessee. It's slightly behind the Mississippi schools and UK. That's not the same as saying I'd like to lose UF, just that if the conference started crumbling, the order in which I'd be the most unhappy looks about like that.

Something like that.
The false narrative is no longer about what we say; it's about what others think we're thinking.

1. Bama
2. UGA
3. LSU
4. A&M
5. Tenn
6. Mizzou

Big 6 of it would hurt the most to lose.
