Thank your lucky stars that FSU is in the ACC. HAd they went to the SEC, your little cocky suckers would probably wound up back in the ACC at the best. And FSU could have joined the SEC, pulled a UF, dumped Miami and walked alll the way to the bank. They already owned Spurrier. Spur dog would not have had near the SEC Championships because he would have been wtching on TV as FSU would be representing the east. UF owned the SEC in the 90s and FSU owned UF.
Seriously, what haveyou done for SEC football? My God, Mizzou has been to the SEC Championship game more than cocky!

So what? Winning championships isn't a prerequisite for us to be Gamecock fans, unlike many in your fanbase.

Neither of those rivalries are as intense or as nasty as the Carolina/Clemson rivalry.

I'm very familiar with both, having attended both games multiple times and having Texas alumni in the family as well as Michigan alumni in the family.

Carolina/Clemson is way more wicked.

Only Bama/Auburn is more wicked.

Auburn/Georgia can be close, at times, but not nearly as hateful or mean spirited.

For example ... just go check out the daily responses to GamecockFB tweets on Twitter by the taterheads. They are daily stalkers 24/7.

Again, so the hell what? I got 2 degrees from USC and spent 7 great years in Columbia. I'll be a Gamecock fan 50 years from now if we don't win a game the next 49 years. That's how all of us Gamecocks on here are. I don't concern myself with Gumps, Gators or Noles ridiculing my alma mater over us not winning football championships, especially given that half of them never set foot on the respective campuses of the team they root for save for a football game.
