I don't disagree with your points at all.
I also think he can bring in the talent as well or better than anyone. He brought some top talent to Ole Miss if I'm not mistaken.

I agree, if we don't make a run at the A list I'd be mad. Of course I doubt we ever get the truth in what goes on with offers and such officially.
I don't see us outbidding Texas for Herman. We have a massive bank but no one has a bigger one than UT.

I do think there are plenty of good coaches on the next level but it's a gamble.

The USC alum on the college football show on Sunday mornings. jason sehourn I think made a good point about O at USC getting passed because of name chasing. He thought O did great turning USC around and reenergizing them. No new HC is worth losing Aranda and Raymond I know that much

Which O keeps both.
A smart coach does all he can to keep a good portion of our staff.
Aranda, Raymond, Craig, julukes all keepers IMO. Ensminger fills a nice roll as well.
However you do have to let your new coach hire his staff. I'd just be weary in a interview if a coach told me they didn't want to keep Aranda.

How do you know Aranda is staying with O? Maybe he's pissed he didn't get the look at HC instead of O. Maybe he wants to coach with herman if he goes to Texas. I'm sure this staff will not stay 100% in tact.

It won't even with O. I have a feeling our boosters/admin have had talks with both O and Aranda about this.
Aranda also knew coming in that les was probably fired.
