This entire thread you have been talking about how LSU moved the game for Katrina and LSU moved the game for Rita. It was all LSU. The truth of the matter is, it was the SEC who moved the game just like the SEC postponed the UF game.

No team can just move a conference game you fricking mouthbreather. It has to come from the SEC office.

You really are one dense son of a bitch.

What you are doing now is weak sauce. You came in with real opinions that were borderline retarded. You got called out and you noticed how misinformed you were so you were embarrassed. Now you are purposely making outrageous statements to make people think you were trolling all along.

It is the weakest maneuver on TD.

That's your whole argument about UF moving the game. Alleva did this and Alleva worked out that. UF didn't want to do it.

I just read an article that BR was under Tropical Storm watch for it.

A- it was later changed to a tropical storm once the storm died. You're fricking dumb.

It hammered the coast, like I said

B- more than just the coast was affected. Would you like me to prove this as well, or can you use wikipedia?

Do you really not understand that all ADs have to make the proposals to the SEC office?

Don't lie, you honestly believed the ADs just made these decisions on their own, didn't you?

What I did was some research on what your kind has been spilling. I found it to be false time after time after time.

Katrina was an absolute disaster. You played the game two weeks later.

Rita hammered certain places/the coast. That is where the damage was done. BR was under a Tropical Storm warning Saturday and the SEC office is the one who moved the game. LSU had nothing to do with it.

I know Alleva was trying to make the decisions for UF. He was doing it in the press....as was stated earlier and you and your ilk vehemently denied that. Now that I have found out that LSU didn't have anything to do with the game being moved, which has been the argument of LSU fans ITT, you are switching gears yet again.

I guess I was wrong to assume an SEC fan would understand that games can only be moved by the SEC when both schools come to an agreement.

I underestimated your stupidity.

So let's recap what you were wrong about.

-didn't know Alleva had found another venue
-didn't know Alleva suggested (to UF and the SEC, since this needs to be clarified, apparently) that LSU was willing to play on Monday in Gainesville
-didn't know that LSU had a rescheduled home game in 2005 that was played the Monday after
-didn't know that Hurricane Rita was a Cat 3
-didn't know that Rita caused more damage than Matthew
-didn't know that Rita affected more in Louisiana than just those on the coast
-and apparently didn't know that the SEC has to approve all rescheduled SEC games

I think that about covers it. I can add as we go, because you don't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

they had to agree to play the game on that Monday, otherwise the game would be cancelled.

the schools have to agree. The SEC has to approve. How are you not seeing this?

LSU wanted to play the game on Saturday since the weather had moved out (just like it had in Gainesville) but the SEC moved the game to Monday in fairness to Tennessee (Just like LSU was willing to do in Gainesville).

No one is "switching gears". You're just proving OUR point and don't even realize it.

The lack of knowledge and awareness he's put on display is mind boggling. He keeps trying to "get us" and gets slapped down every time.

ETA: He just continues to ignore facts and trudge forward even after it's been proven he's wrong.

"Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience."

This guy is the embodiment of this saying.

That LSU didn't have a damn thing to do with. The SEC office rescheduled that game. LSU said "yes sir". You are the one who has brought up how LSU is the one who has been rescheduling the two games numerous times ITT.

-didn't know that Hurricane Rita was a Cat 3

When it hit the coast. it quickly dissipated. As I have told you, I'm not some yankee who reads about Hurricanes. I have been in them. I know what they can do to the coast. Most of the damage in that Hurricane was from the storm surge. It wasn't some beast that was a monster even 40 miles inland. I hate that people lost their lives. I hate that people lost things that can't be replaced. I can think of 4 Hurricanes I have been through more violent, weather wise, than Rita.

I was within 4 miles of the coast on the east side of the storm. If you know Hurricanes......

Not only did LSU lose at home to UF. The Gators were wearing those horrid solid orange uniforms to boot. Gag.

I think they should move the BYU - LSU game to the Sun Bowl in ELP.
No chance of rain there. That is why it is called that. Neutral site still probably half way between the two campuses.
Problem solved . Your welcome.

LSU will react exactly like it did last year, by trying to figure out every way possible to get this played next wknd, even if it means changing locations. Let's see if BYU acts like a bunch of pussies just the Gators did
