None of you have said anything beyond DeBoer’s record. Past performance doesn’t guarantee anything especially in arguably the best college football conference. And, DeBoer has never had a good defense as far as I know. In the SEC you have to be good on both sides of the ball.

Also, DeBoer became known with one QB at two different spots. And, that QB will be an NFL draft pick projected in either round 1 or 2. So there are questions even on offense.

Would be hilarious if they drop that road game to Wisconsin before their absolute gauntlet of a league schedule begins.

Everyone is overlooking Western Kentucky, including probably the entire Alabama football team and staff. I say the DeBust era gets off to a bang of a start with a home loss to WK. The calls to Paul Finebaum will be epic

Personally, I can't wait for the very same posters who piddled in their pants laughing saying,"All of Bama's talent left! They didn't want to play for Husky Harsin!" to turn around after DeBoer wins and cry, "He won with Saban's players!!!"

He would have to fail miserably at Alabama by not even being a serious Div I coach and a complete fraud which won't happen and have proven to not be the case.

He'll easily outdo both Sark and Kiffin.

I know it bothers you guys but we're about to go on yet another run

That’s awesome. Based on his 4 years of experience as a head coach, I have no reason to doubt that you’re going on another run.

I said on another thread Bama will lose about 3 games, maybe more

You also said Caleb Downs was an offensive tackle, so excuse me for not putting any stock in what you say.

I for one appreciate you. Some people dislike you (no one I know personally) but not me. You're talking football and it's not even the typical football season yet. Bravo bravo

How long does Deboer get before Bama brings Sark or Kiffen home?

Kiffen will never coarch at uat, period. Burned to many bridges.

Sark has virtually unlimited resources at Texas, why would he leave unless he was fired?

Somehow, I don't think sabben will be able to completely walk away. This will cause problems for the players that stayed after he abruptly left and the new coarching staff.

The natives will get restless after the second loss and bricks will start flying after their 3rd loss so maybe one or two years.

He won double digit games the last 2 seasons at Washington. You’re really dumb enough to believe that he’ll suddenly forget how to coach and lose multiple games per year with Alabama talent? Nevermind, you don’t need to answer that question

Sark or Kiffin back home?

Neither will EVER be the HC at Bama.

Sark will never leave Austin unless he is fired. Bama won't hire a fired coach.

Kiffin will never coach at Alabama as long as Nick Saban has air in his lungs. If Bama was going to ever hire Kiffin, he would be there right now.

Urban Meyer had 4 years head coaching experience before taking over Florida. He did ok.

Kirby Smart had 0 years head coaching before he took over Georgia. He's doing ok.

Spurrier had 6, Fulmer had 0.

Everyone starts somewhere. He's already won more playoff games than Brian Kelly
