A&M will start high, but by the end of next season, there will be a lot of butt hurt aggies. Teams will be gunning for them, and they will lose 3 or 4.

2011 may have been better, but this idea that A&M caught Bama in a down year defensively is silly. Bama was still the #1 defense in the country and likely will be again this year, but that doesnt automatically mean you'll shut us down.

looking back at last years game, Bama had very little success against us even after the first quarter.

Our first half possessions were TD, TD, TD, 40 yard drive that ended on fourth down by an inch and then end of half. Three of our six legitimate second half drives ended in points (or should have, one was a missed 30-something yard FG). Another was the end of the game.

Essentially, Bama stepped up and stopped our offense could only twice the entire game. Even one of those drives was helped by a 20 yard pass called back for questionable offense PI. Bama might do better this year and still give up 20-30 points.

Who the hell is the fourth loss? Even if we lose every seemingly tough game on the schedule (Bama, Ole Miss and LSU) we'd have to lose to someone like Vandy at home or Arkansas to hit four losses.

LSU is about 100 times more likely to reach 4 losses than A&M is.

I agree your offense will be great, I've just never heard a good case as to why Carson and Williams are suddenly being considered so highly when they haven't done much of anything at the college level, and nothing at the SEC level.

What would be a good case? What could I tell you that would make you believe that?

Well nothing, because they haven't proven they can be good at the college level, much less the SEC level.

It wouldn't be surprising at all to see LSU lose 4 games (@ UG, UF, TAMU, @ AL).

So that means they won't be?

No, but it means that they need to actually prove it first before you make claims about them making your offense the best at rushing in the SEC.

LSU could lose five games next year (including @ Ole Miss or the bowl) and nobody but LSU fans will be shocked.

For all the crap A&M gets about replacing our defense, they lost more starters and talent on that side then we did AND they have an infinitely harder schedule.

I wasn't even talking about LSU, just about how A&M would be overrated this year and could drop a game to a subpar SEC team.

Well we already had the SEC's leading rusher, and rushed for more yards per game than Alabama... is it outlandish to think we would be better, even if just slightly? Is that too bold of a claim for you? Is it really as baseless as you are claiming?

We definitely could. The better team doesn't always win. See A&M vs LSU last year.

We already have the best rushing attack statistically. Even taking out Manziel, our backs still average the second most YPC in the conference.

LSU WAS the better team that day. The top 5 Aggies didn't become that way until AFTER the LSU game.

Indeed you did, but don't expect his rushing numbers to go up or stay the same, they will decline by a fair margin for a few reasons. He'll be more disciplined and stay in the pocket more, and the top tier teams will likely shut down his running this year.

Congrats.

Be better than what? Alabama? I don't remember saying you wouldn't be better than Bama rushing, you will be. Better than the rest of the SEC? No it's not outlandish, but you lost your best OL, you're overrating some OL you have right now, and you lost Michael. You probably will be the top rushing attack in the SEC, but there isn't a lot to support it right now.

Not really.

I'm not claiming it's that baseless, don't try to play the victim card.

You're better than this TeLeFaW, don't act like a kid. I said Carson and Williams have to prove how good they are before you can just claim they will be sure things.

And you caught Bama the week after the LSU vs Bama game which was a big boy game. Y'all snuck Bama in that first half.
