Texas A&M will get smashed by Bama (think last yr Bama Vs Mizzou type beating), a coup,e things in Bama's favor and a revenge game is never good for opponents against a Saban led team, plus it's bad luck but you guys draw Bama the 1st SEC game, not gonna be pretty

Honestly though I could see the Ags beating LSU this yr it should be a good game

You think Bama is goingto hold A&M to ten points at home?

It was shocking to me to see SEVEN schoolyard QBs lol SEVEN

Parker looked pretty bad, Del Rio just handed off the ball and Cooper had a couple downfield passes that looked good (our secondary looked great today mind you) and threw a tipped pass that Vinnie caught for an INT and ran back for a TD

No, aTm is still a good team and our DL looked good against our new OL. Again how do you read that as a fan, great DL or poor OL. Only the coaches know. ATM still has a fast shifty running qb who can throw pretty well, if we don't pressure with a four man front we may lose again. I expect Bama to win but this will not be a blow out and I do t think Saban cares about revenge only the end results but this is just my opinion.

A&M will be the second highest rated SEC team to start the year.

Oh, you mean like Arkansas being ranked #1 in baseball in the preseason?

Listen, nothing against A&M. Glad they are in the league and I like most all of their fans except you ... but A&M has a tough row to hoe vs Bama, @Ole Miss, @LSU. It is going to be very tough for A&M to go unscathed through this coming season. Everyone will be scheming for JFF this year and SEC DCs are masters at making adjustments. You will not be able to overlook Auburn (Ellis Johnson) or Miss State either. Arkansas' cupboard is not bare either.

I'm on a high with our team. Defense is a weakness but its all good.

I meant I'm concerned that the league will eat its own this year.

Bama could beat us, then LSU beats them. But we beat LSU. or any iteration of that. Same for the East teams.

Hell Vandy and the Rebs could do damage.

This league has so much talent that even the "bad" teams can make something happen on a given weekend. Now, there's no true parity in the SEC yet but it's close.

No doubt ... I've been saying it for awhile. For the foreseeable future, at least IMHO fwiw, the only thing that beats the SEC is the SEC itself. The SEC is the only thing that can prevent the SEC streak from continuing but I would think that would apply only to this particular upcoming season given the playoff kicks-in after the 2014 season.

To be fair I saw nor know nothing of their spring game but the score but defenses are typically ahead of the offense this time of year and they gave up 35. I could very well not understand their setup but if it's similar to Bama's they will struggle on defense.

So Bama is going to score what, 60 on us?

A&Ms offense is too good for us to get blown out. You might beat us but it will be a high scoring game. You'll need 28+ most likely at least.

I would be surprised if A&M scored into the 20's

I don't think aTm puts 28 on this defense.

Statistically A&M has the easiest schedule in the SEC next year. Try again. :)

Last yrs secondary was pretty green and a good bit return

I personally doubt A&M with a rebuilt OL and new WRs to break in in its 1st SEC game of the season scores 28 on what will likely be the best D they'll see all year

Our "rebuilt" O-line contaibs the best tackle in the country and three future first round picks. The two new starters were the #1 center in the country out of HS and the #1 guard in Texas. I think we'll be ok.

Ever heard the old saying "stats are for losers?"

South Carolina went into the 2010 season with what appeared to be a favorable schedule ... no one expected Auburn to do what they did that year. Plus we beat Bama then go on the road and drop one to Kentucky. That's not an unusual happening in the SEC and you'll find that out sooner than later.

You had a great season last year - but it is tough to do that year after year, very few teams manage.

If you believe you have an easy schedule in 2013 then I believe you're probably going to be disappointed. Again, nothing personal against A&M in the least but losing the OLineman you lost, Joeckel, plus you lost Moore, you get Matthews back, right? Moore was a surprise this past season.

I dunno, maybe you are going to be proven correct and A&M will dominate the West ... but I just don't see it happening. It's much tougher than you think IMHO.
