Mullen was going to be Miami's coach until UGA fired Richt. He thought he had the position and had essentially stopped recruiting his 2015 class

You will never find out. They tried to obtain my services when they got rid of Les.

Yes but, contrary to what LSU fans think, not everyone wants to coach there due to, let's say, less than adequate management of athletics at a high level.

Dan Mullen doesn't fit that culture. Would be an odd pairing for sure.

If LSU had offered, Dan would have jumped ship in a heartbeat. He's already been begging other schools for a job.

That is what everyone seems to say but I have never seen any evidence of that.
Megan loves Starkvegas and his kids are doing well. He has a good gig going now.

Now he may leave in the next few years but I am starting to think he may be like Beamer at Va. Tech and be here for the long term. Would be fine with me.

But all this talk about him leaving is mostly hot air because it is nine years now and he is still at State so it leads me to believe that some of these rumors are just that , made up stories to try to make someone look bad.

Nope, couldn't be further from the truth. They offered and I denied.

They did and I didn't. I'm not beggind, I'm being begged.

I appreciate that. As far as the admin at LSU, don't be so harsh. Everyone has their faults that need to be worked on.

Even if Mullen was an upgrade over Orgeron, it's not like we are winning a championship with either until that douchebag in Tuscaloosa retires.

I would much rather have the 10 years that Miles gave us than whatever Mullen would do in 10 years at LSU, and I wanted Miles fired like everyone else.
