As I stated from the get go, the NCAA essentially does have subpoena power with all its members. Its only non members it does not have. Hence my employer example

Fair enough. The horses will never be put back in the barn.

I already apologized (which is WELL above the standard for the Rant). What else do you want from me?

I honestly was not trying to offend Auburn fans. Us Aggies kinda play fast and loose with our narrative and I forget others don't do the same.

For example, RSJ's dad said they got offered hundreds of thousands of dollars to go to certain schools but he came here for free. I think that is bull shite. I expect he got paid, in fact every time he has a good play I yell at my tv "Hell yeah, EARN that fricking money RSJ!"

Sorry for projecting my feelings onto you.

Two former MSU players met with coaches and told them what it would take. The meeting was quickly ended. We never offered the money. We are poor.

My point was: if the price was $180k for MSU, then why did Cam go for free to Auburn?

(que Starkville joke)

But don't answer that question. No one answer that. I already apologized for this line of conversation so let's drop it.

Maybe they should go to the Josh Smith's GF thread, that may help.

So, in essence, whether OM gets on probation or not is completely dependent on the will of Nick Saban and Alabama.

Did the fellow on the grassy knoll tell you this?

SEC Rant logic:

1) Ole Miss has more money than Warren Buffett and is corrupt.

No you think we think that, because you're butt hurt we call you out for cheating. Y'all don't have a lot of money but you're using a lot of what you do have for things you're not supposed to be doing. The other SEC schools prefer not to waste their money on potential championships that will get vacated anyway and instead spend our money on things that will not have the NCAA inevitably all over our arse.

The wheels of "justice" run sloooooow. Before a program gets investigated and sanctioned usually the staff and players are looooong gone, which is a big problem with the way the NCAA punishes teams. Players that were in middle school when the shite went down are at the school by the time the school gets punished.

Even after they get a letter it still takes forever. It sets a school back a decade pretty much. If UA and USC weren't schools that are premier schools they would still be middle of the road. Look at how long Miami is taking to recover. And SMU never recovered, of course they did get the DP. But UA, USC, and Miami were the ones that got it the worst since SMU.

And the tricky part is that is includes all sports, if you get probation for football, then the basketball program fricks up, then you're a repeat offender. So the whole AD has to walk the line.

So you have the cloud of impending investigations that hurts recruiting, then the actual investigations that hurt recruiting, and then the sanctions that set you back at least a class (4-5 years) of players willing to come even though your program will suck.

Edit: tl;Dr I know. Whether Ole Miss is blatantly cheating or its just sour grapes, I have no clue.

Oh and don't comply with them thinking they will go easier on you. They won't.

EVERYBODY CHEATS

The only difference here is that OM is just late to the party and is doing it better than everyone else now. Go check out the parking lots at every SEC team's football facility during practice if you don't believe it.

I get it. OM is an easy target but some of you just sound like simpleton pussies. Get over it.

Exactly.

Honestly I don't think it's the money. Everyone has money, or boosters willing to pay to win (well everyone but Georgia).

I think the secret to Ole Miss success is slutty white bitches. Freeze tells those girls to take a few for the team and they produce results. Everyone loves a hot white woman.

Us Aggies just can't compete with that, well not unless the recruit comes from San Fran.

I won't argue with that. Probably has some merit. Granted, these fine white women you speak of can also be found on every SEC campus. Even Vanderbilt. They just might not attend Vanderbilt.

Agreed, hot white women are everywhere. Hot white women who have so little self respect that they are willing to do hardcore porno acts to recruit football players are a rare breed.

That is what you call a competitive advantage.
