Basically this. Miami ruined the NCAA's enforcement side. Until the big conferences get together and agree on reform there is no reason to play by the rules. I applaud Ole Miss.

Exactly. Just look at UNC. They've basically been committing academic fraud for over 20 years, paying players and not only condoning agents interfering with players but even going as far as having an active coach (John Blake) acting as an agent representative. All of this in multiple sports. WTF! Not one meaningful sanction has been handed down to those assholes.

They've got the commissioner of the ACC John Swofford running interference for them. Total bullshite.

OM didn't have a single player ineligible due to grades for the Sugar bowl.

But yeah keep fighting the good fight.

I'm such a hypocrite about this. I loathe Auburn for their history of cheating trying keep in sight of big bro's rear view mirror, and am looking forward to asking Mississippi fans if the years of cellar dwelling was worth that one time that they got to play in the Sugar Bowl against a mediocre Oklahoma State team that made them look well coached, yet I'd be okay with us stepping it up a bit.

Interesting, care to elaborate

Yeah, the NCAA overstepped their authority on the Miami case and it backfired:

Now everyone knows that the NCAA is toothless. A reformed NCAA with subpoena power will be needed to clean things up, but less programs want that than ones that do want a clean system.

Yep. Nutt went 9-4 with Cotton Bowl wins his first two years. Then just showed up for the paycheck his last two years. Not funny. Got him fired.

I laugh that their slogan is "Louisiana Fast"

Anyone who's been to a Louisiana restaurant knows this is an oxymoron.

Yup. Which is why their enforcement arm is fricked until conferences give them that power.

Everyone is cheating.

If internet posters are positive we are cheating, then don't you think Saban and Miles and Bert know, too? Of course. So why wouldn't they tell on us? Is it because they are super good guys who wouldn't stoop to our level to bring us down? No, it's because they're cheating, too, and don't want the NCAA knocking on their own door.

We're cheating and so are all of your teams. DWI.

If you are looking for the best website to find updates on the state of Ole Miss affairs just ask our MSU posters. They have an elite message board with up to date, accurate, and rational discussion of all things Ole Miss.

The only people or entities they cant compel you to turnover information is non members. so outside business and people. Players, coaches, immediate family(to a lesser extent) and schools are still forced to provide information
