AU has a much better recruiting base than Ark. Recruiting has always been BPs weakest skill.

Petrino has already tried to sneak into AU through stabbing Tubby in the back. As I recall, he & the AU athletic dept. literally got caught on the airport runway. Tubby was still HC at the time. And Petrino used to coach with/for Tubs. Piece of shite. Go ask the Falcons what kind of person he is: he did not tell them goodbye in a team meeting; he left a small note on each locker.

He would struggle to get 3 stars there. Do you think parents would send their kid to play for a dude that has had 10 head coaching jobs in 15 years and fricks volleyball players on the side? Opposing coaches would have a field day recruiting against him and that is why I wouldn't want him here.

He has Louisville as a top tier program, likely the biggest favorite for the CFB playoff as current. Why would he want to leave that all, for what is close to a lateral move?

They're as credible as any rumors about the head coach of a highly-ranked P5 team accepting the same position at another P5 school in the third week of the season. That is to say, when Elvis, Tupac, and Nyarlathotep hold a joint press conference to announce it's a done deal and they'll be working on Gruden to Tennessee next, you can start to take such rumors seriously.

Where are you hearing these rumors, anyway? Sounds more like wish-fulfillment and angry post-game message board bitching than actual rumor-mongering.

If he comes back to the SEC, please God let him end up at Auburn and not LSU...

He'd wreck shop in the East. Tennessee would be a good fit as long as he keeps his dick in his pants.

Hit the brakes. He has Louisville as the best performing team of week three. Top-tier program? He has a ways to go before that descriptive is warranted. Remember, he took a UL that had lost 3 games in 2 years under Strong and went 9-4 and 8-5 in the last two years. Put the anointing oils back in the fridge for now.

Of every week

They are the only team that looks to be locked into the CFB. The way they have played mixed with their remaining schedule.

That is the only goal and all that matters.

At Arkansas

Even Malzahn and Chizik have managed to beat Saban at Auburn

A real coach like Petrino at Auburn may never lose to an aging Saban

The game would still have to be played on the field but can you imagine the shite Bret would say during game week.

I wonder if he'd keep his frickin mouth shut.
