As previously stated MULTIPLE TIMES... I said I am impressed at how many players you have in the NFL...(less than LSU still though) I am talking LONG TERM SUCCESS. if those 11 players (not all are starters) and still starting in 2015 i would consider that a major improvement but history says that wont be the case

How long do you think Saban has been at Bama? How many players that he actually recruited at Bama could be veterans in the NFL by now? His first full recruiting class that was all his was 2008. If you don't want to give credit to 1st and 2nd year players that don't have sustained success then you are just looking to troll.

Saban's first recruit would've been drafted like 4 years ago. Do a lot of players become veteran Hall of Famer's in 4 years?

Again Ill ask what former Bama players have been in the NFL 4+ years and still dominant? Truth is everyone is given a year or two. At least that rookie contract, because let be honest nobody wants to admit they wasted a draft pick on a lemon.

I am not going to look up your players to find out when and where each were drafted. All you gump have in your shithole state is college football and PBR. You should be able to name people instantly that have been in the league 4+ years and are successful starters. If DeMeco Ryans is the answer to your arguement I dont think we need to continue this thread.

Roman Harper led the Saints in tackles in 2012 doesn't mean he was good.

Bama has put very solid players in the nfl the past few years, but only one has become superstar. Many have become very good nfl players.

Lacy may but his running style is brutal and will wear down quickly.

Exactly one player in the NFL from Bama with a career 5+ years that was drafted in the first round played for Saban. Andre Smith. He was just resigned by the Bengals and is still the starter at RT.

There were three other guys taken from Bama that year

Antoine Caldwell 3rd round. Played till last year

Rashad Johnson 3rd round. Starting safety for the Cardinals and just got a new contract

Glenn Coffee 3rd round. He quit football for personal reasons after a very good rookie year.

So there you have it. So which one is a bust?

If you lead an NFL franchise in tackles you are good. Period.

Never heard of him. Must have sucked.

Not impressed honestly. When I think Cardinals I think Patrick Peterson....

He did even like the game. How could you possibly consider someone who doesnt like to play football good....

Good Lord this is pathetic. None of these players are household names.

Von Miller is better than DeMeco Ryans... dont be delusional... You are hanging your hat on Ryans as your "NFL Superstar", dont get me wrong Bama puts ALOT OF PEOPLE INTO THE NFL FOR A FEW SEASONS... but they all wash up. Maybe its because playing for Saban is just like the NFL so Bama career span goes down?

Just saying outside of DeMeco Ryans, Julio Jones (we will see where he is in 3 years, hopefully still a baller because I have him in a fantasy dynsaty league). Everyone else is 1-2 year into their careers.

You came to this thread saying Bama has alot of NFL stars, I agreed and said they are all young and historically its EXTREMELY rare that they has sustained success.

You said DeMeco Ryans which I gave you, Roman Harper is also acceptable.

So 2 out of how many people drafted before 2010 are still relevant?

And im making a fool of myself????

These 2 you can hang your hat on (barring injury) Verdict is still out on the other less than 3 year players.

Dareus was a Pro-Bowler this year, so that makes 3.

Hightower led New England in tackles. That makes 4

Mark Barron was Tampa Bay's 2nd leading tackler, and also had 2 INTs. That makes 5.

Rashad Johnson...6th in tackles for the Cards. Also had 3 INTs to tie for 2nd on the team with some guy named Patrick Peterson. That makes 6.

Kareem Jackson...#5 on the team in tackles...maybe not All-Pro, but hardly a bust.

Perhaps if you had put this benchmark in your original question, we could have the answers you were looking for, which is clear you already knew the answer.

This thread sucks.

You cant be serious. Kareem Jackson is fricking terrible. Please ask any Houston Texans fan you will ever encounter.

Everyone else you named is still young within the 4 year limitation are they not?
