Disappointing knowing we could’ve had another 2019esque season if it weren’t for our shitty defense.

rough...

we choked away the Florida game, and thus ended not bowl eligible. The end of the season was kind of fun because we sort of saw the team we could be (until Clemson).

With the class we have committed I am excited because I think it addresses a lot of needs, but yeah..from game 1 we knew we were going to struggle

Predicted 7-5, finished 6-6. Played like S$it against NMS, played good against Bama. Overall about what I expected.

Before the season

Best case: in ATL where I figured we would lose to UGA

Worst case: West runner up

I didn't think we would lose to Ole Miss. That's partially because I didn't think Ole Miss would be as good as they were this year and slept on them.

LSU offense was better than I thought they would be and I thought the offense would be pretty good

The defense...holy hell. Even with the secondary I thought the defense was bad at all levels most of the year.

Honest assessment. Fell below expectation and adjustments need to be made for 2024. Get 10 wins and let House find a new home.

Might as well participate in this since we'll be SEC in a few months--thought we'd go 9-3, so 10-2 is a good 2nd year for Venables. Slightly disappointing since we easily should have won both games we lost and should be playing Texas in a CFP play-in game. Instead have to watch them drub our little brother for a conference title.

Likely will be a better team next year with a worse record. Will beat Texas yet again, though.

D.

I was hoping for 6-6, maybe even 7-5 and we ended 5-7, but it was the way we lost games that was really disappointing and we are in trouble next year without Rattler. I know we have a little bit of young talent but I'm not sold just now.

Carolina is going to have to become a portal program - we don't have the recruiting base, history or anything that is going to win us the recruits needed to ever compete for a SEC championship.

Considering all the injuries I think we had a great season. For all the crap we took for our easy schedule, we ended up playing 4 ranked teams and mopped the floor with three of them and put down a strong Mizzou team.
There were times at the first of the year we looked like we were kinda going through the motions, but they showed up and played hard when they had too.
Beck was a great surprise. Bowers is still the best player in the nation that would not have won the Heisman even if he didn't get hurt. Running game has come on strong. D hasn't been as dominant as the last couple of years but better than average. We might fall short of the 3-peat, but I think we're in a good spot. All-in-all, thumbs up.

11-1, double-digit win in Tuscaloosa where we matched them in the trenches, chance for a conference championship even with our starting QB out for a long stretch & another top 10 class incoming. I’d give Sark an A for year three.

Only thing that kept it from being an A+ was the maddening last minute drive in RRS.

We beat our cupcakes then fell apart completely when we faced even just mediocre competition. Lost 5 of 6 and should have won 2-3 of those. No real excuse.

Beating UL helps some, but I think it speaks more to how average UL is vs any real improvement we made. We'll see I guess in Shreveport.

A historically great, national championship caliber offense with a junior high defense. I expected to be an atlanta

LOLOL... In other words LSU would have won the Big12 or the PAC2

I predicted 11-1, and we hit it. Picked us to play against Georgia in the SECCG, and to win it all.

Last 2 are still possible, but I think Georgia win it all again now. Complete team

I think the offense has spoken for itself. A good season, but with a decent defense could have been better. Still mystified how even in the last game we can't cover a RB over the middle.

Better than expected but the defense is what I expected which is a step down from our last 2 NC defenses.

Considering we played with half a team, pretty good to end up at 9-3.

I like the hire. Good fit. Knows the program. Should make headway from the very start.
