Incidentally, if any of you have the same problem with gambling that I do, there's no such thing as "house money" for us. There's "temporarily having more than you brought but quickly pissing it back away" money.

Can't argue this.

No worries. Hell, the dude fights for that trademark too. I think it was Prattville HS that wanted to put three peat on their champ rings but couldn't.
You're right.

I live in Prattville and that was a couple of year ago, "although I graduated in the early 90's."

The new football coach is a good friend of mine....I wish we had Bill Clark back, "losing sucks."

New coach is a great guy and a good Christian. IMO he just doesn't have the "it" factor it takes to be a successful football coach.

ETA: I've always been a shitty gambler. I can pick games and descent with numbers but as soon as I put money on them they lose...

I think Bama is going to slant and screen us to death, picking on the middle of our d before hitting a slant and go or two.

Don't forget the "pick" play. Greggie and Julio killed our arse with that in 2009.

Im hoping Jake Holland is bounced for targeting on McCarron on the first play. Addition by subtraction.

I don't know, I think it would rustle more jimmies if he had a game winning pick six.

Y'all had it going on for a good stretch, it will turn back around, too much talent in the area.

I have said it before, anyone from either team who says this isn't a big game and losing doesn't effect them is lying imo. No way will I be okay with losing to Bama ever. Will I be satisfied with the overall year AU has had? Yes I will.
Rocky nails it.

And that's the difference between AU and Bama in this game - we're happy with our 2013 season win or lose. With Bama, the whole year is a failure if they don't beat us.

Before you say "that's why you're Auburn and we're Bama", I will tell you that I will feel the exact same way in 2014 if we go into Bryan Dennehy Stadium 11-0 and ranked #1. Losing THAT Iron Bowl would be devastating - just as 2010 would have been without the Camback. It's all a matter of perspective.

As an aside, there's been a lot of talk in this thread about how "Bama players have felt this kind of pressure for the past 3-4 years and have proven they can handle it". Isn't it also true that they've also got SECC and BCSC rings, are assured of high draft picks and NFL careers, and may just be thinking, "You know, it'll suck if we lose, but then I could relax and not have to worry about SECCG practice, or dealing with the coaches screaming at us about winning the BCS again..."
