For those that don't know, this is what Harbaugh is responding to.

He will win more than 1 and that will be multiple championships.

good coach at a good program that recruits itself.

Michigan only needs a great coach at the helm to succeed.

Harbaugh is a excellent coach and will lead them to championships

Jim Harbaugh is one of the best coaches in the game, at any level, and he is taking over a program that is on equal footing as Alabama.

Didn't he get fired from San Francisco?

Michigan has had 1 National Championship since 1948, so not. They are not on equal footing with Alabama.

Nobody cares about 40 or 50 or 60 or 70 years ago. The SEC IS dominate in this sport, right now.

Ask anybody if they want to be known as being dominate 50 years ago or dominate right now and see what they say.

They had one of the all time greats for twenty one seasons without winning one.

I said that Alabama, nor anyone in the South, can touch the Michigans, Ohio States, Notre Dames of the college football world on TRADITION, because they invented the fu(king game.

Explain what you mean by this. because if you want to go all the way back to the beginning, then I would say Yale has more tradition than the Ohio States, Michigans and Notre Dames.

What would lead you to believe this? There have been better coaches at Michigan and yet..

They only have 2 since the inception of the AP poll. 1948 and 1997. Although they claim 11 on their school site.

Jim is a better coach than Saban

I take what he has to say to heart whereas Saban always seems to bitch about bitching, which is the perfect coach for the Bama fans on this board and in real life

So the coach that wins recruiting every year doesn't want recruiting to change. That's funny. I'm all for camps. You don't have to participate.

Good thing he's at Michigan then, and not in the SEC.

I heard some similarities in the AAU basketball with these summer camps. One would have to go through the camp organizer to get info on the kids. So you would then be dealing with 3 rd party guys. You are going down a slippery slope. I think the NCAA realized this and got a ton of pressure to reinstate the camps. I think once cooler heads prevail then camps will be modified for next year.

Wait, what? I never implied he was in the SEC. Saban is the best coach in the SEC and 3rd best in the country behind Meyer and Harbaugh.

I understand Nick's point but there are already 3rd party guys taking kids to camps.

That's good. Saban will just win the SEC every year, and wait for Meyer and Harbaugh in the playoffs.

You think we can bring Ritter to help?

This is the truth.
And I know the Bama fans don't want to hear it, but Harbaugh is better, and he is at a program that will sell itself.
Harbaugh IS going to kick Saban's arse.
Harbaugh will make Saban retire.
