this would be a lot less fun if Harbaugh had not just landed a historic recruiting class. It is only a matter of time until Michigan takes over college football

Jim Harbaugh has a much greater chance at meeting this guy in person

I feel like if Harbaugh beat Saban he would pull some post-game handshake shite like he did with Shwartz a few years ago. A smack on the back and walk off.

Tell me more about this. Who was "dominate" before the SEC?

Saban is one of the best coaches in the history of college football. He's so damn good, that his legacy has propped up two separate programs he's no longer involved with.

That's how good he is.

Alabama's legacy of having two of the greatest coaches in the history of the game is an amazing accomplishment.

People can either just admit it and tip their hat, or they can get butthurt and whine. Michigan is a legendary program, but it's no Alabama. And even though my folks went to TCU, and I'm from Fort Worth, and think Gary Patterson is the best coach in the nation when it comes to doing more with less, he's no Saban. In fact, during practice, he'll scold his players when they think he's being too tough. "You think Nick Saban goes easy on his players? Doesn't make them work to be the best? He'd make you do the same damn thing I'm making you do." I literally heard him say that practice.

He was pushed out of the NFL. Players and management hated him and this is why.

Maybe he will. Maybe he won't. The point is, Saban already has. At two universities. He has the clout the say whatever the hell he wants. Jim doesn't.

And that's the thread.

Thanks.

Harbaugh's not stupid. He realizes that if he can get people to speak about him within the same topic that they refer to the best in the profession, it elevates him simply by association. The guy's an attention whore.

Saban trying to have an intelligent discussion. Harbaugh throwing childish jabs.

Because of a whiny owner and players. Harbaugh went 44-19 in the NFL, that's incredible fiven how shitty San Fran had been.

Harbaugh is really brave - knowing he won't have to play Alabama.

Gotta make the playoffs first.
